Just did my capping early on the US Open.. Here's the 'Good List' with odds.. No plays yet but might lock in a few in the next coming days..

For me, a list without McDowell and Sergio is incomplete.  I also locked in Streelman at 225:1 about2 months ago on oddsmaker.  

Kevin Chappels US Open results are filthy!  If you can get me a line for him, I might chase/PayPal you some cash.

Yes I'm going to narrow it down lol..

RockPlay - I do like McDowell actually he should be on the list. Sergio tho sadly will not make my cut this week.

I'm trying to figure out my strategy going in to this.. Liking some of the big favs and then also a few of the longy's.. Will see..

Add - McDowell +2400, Schwartzel +3500, Dufner +6500 to the good list.. I know there are many this weekend figures being a major and all.. Tough choices..

I'll be fading Sneds, Day, and Stricker this tourney.. Tho Day could come thru in late (last) rounds.. Hard fade on Sneds and Stricks (full tourney).

 

Sleeping on it tonight and will post my picks tomorrow.

How in the world can you fade Stricker here? I mean that is crazy. He, unlike many others, can take advantage of the shorter holes at Merion and hit driver and wedges where as a ton of guys like Tiger Phil DJ etc will be hitting a bunch of irons. Basically there length will not be of much help this week. Your winner from this week will be a guy that attacks the course with drivers and not one of the guys that hits a bunch of irons.

i have 625/340  that tiger wins 0 majors this yr.  1 is in the bag, 3 to go. Tiger  booting lindsay out last week will not help.

I agree Stricks is a great short game player without a doubt. I shouldn't have said a 'Hard Fade' maybe I just meant a 'top player fade' but I will be fading him a bit. I use science, its the way I cap and I believe in it, but also some courses do fit certain players well I understand that. But science is science and science says he will not be good this weekend. I thought you knew this was the way I cap (majority factor)?

i took chappel at 125-1 last week here in vegas soft course means this open is open 2 many many players

anyone have a winning score or cut score prop up yet?

Damn my book is killing me compared to those odds. I just go through my local though . I actually live in Ardmore, pa where this years us open is being played and the weather is really gonna have an affect on it. Its been down pouring all day and there is actually a rare tornado watch until 10:00 pm tonight. Its supposed to rain the next three days until Thursday too . There's talk of closing the course all together tomorrow depending on this rain so a lot of players will not have that much practice before the actually start on Thursday. From what i heard players are expecting the course to be very slow and soft from this rain meaning that there's gonna be a lot of low scores and birdies with a real tight finish in the end. Makes me wanna take a chance at some of these dogs. Here's my odds, kinda pisses me off compared to yours hah

Locals cant compete with offshore, especially when it comes to future odds on any sport. Guess they dont want to take to big of a hit. 
Ive already put $10 each on teater,hicks, and lingmerth at over 550-1
