Forgot what else I promised you.  But when I get free in a bit I will glance back.

I tried to grab some easy to read quickly and some that were even from reliably Liberal sources.

But there are a lot more and way more esoteric.  I am not sure how detailed you wanted the data to be.

I also didn’t notice how exactly you were blaming Trump on the virus thing?  What examples, would you use as what he should have done?  China, Spain, Italy, Belarus, Sweden?

Most of what I think you think he should, or should not, have done is really not his call to make.

I think you also are not crediting deregulation enough.

I am not sure your corollary about Obama’s last 3/Trump’s first 3 is based on the correct data.

You are not comparing the correct things the correct way to make it fair comparison.  You also assume certain things that can’t be assumed.

For example, economies are not in a vacuum.  They are dynamic and complex.  Which is why theories and predictions based on models are often so very wrong.

I do not think you will find very many people that would rate Obama as more business-friendly than Trump.  Nor would a good economist say Obama was better at jumpstarting an economy than Trump would be.

I get — even understand — that you do not like Trump. But if you look at it open-mindedly, you have to like Trump better than Obama for the economy. And by default Biden, as well.

That's like REFUSING to cover your own white children with sunscreen and

THANK YOU for making the time and effort to post some links and make a case.
I can respect that at least, unlike seen in other trump-supporters here.

Trucking improving is given. With vast increases in parcel delivery and all
things available in stores being available for shipping, it makes sense that
this is most likely a dominant trend for the future. For that matter amazon
and courier firms have all had increased economic activity as a result.
But this more of "shifting economy" rather than increase in actual productivity.
I can't prove it, but logic tells me that with vast reduction in personal incomes,
consumer spending has to be down -- and if not then debt would be rising to
compensate. Furthermore, analysts are saying that many of the lost jobs will
never come back. Bring & mortar stores for many consumer products have
way more good days behind them than ahead of them. Tourism and
hospitality industries are the hardest hit and many won't be able to come back
from what we can logically expect to be a vast reduction in tourism for
AT LEAST a full year if not 2 or 3 before finally rebounding to pre-pandemic
levels. Unfortunately, those industries are served by minorities in particular.
So not only is hispanic and black unemployment right now worse than whites,
it's expected to be even worse as the weeks roll on.
trump will no longer be able to make that boast truthfully....although he will anyway.

passed off as factual and yet, without supporting evidence and links to
support your statements.

I have found over my 66 years, that the reason for that is usually:

1/ your statements are just your opinions, perhaps aided from something
you vaguely remember hearing or reading, while ignoring the possibility
those positions were already refuted.
Like the guy who quotes a particular study that affirm his beliefs -- while
choosing NOT to look and see that his study was already peer-reviewed
and debunked as hogwash violating numerous scientific standards.

2/ you KNOW your statements lack winning fact based scrutiny (which is
why you don't/can't support them) but you simply want to fling sh*t against
the wall to see how it lands. In effect, just arguing for the sake of trying to
annoy others and or seem relevent or knowledgable.

I addressed this TWICE before - in this thread - and still has not been
persuasively refuted with links to FACTS.
If you know what you're talking about go ahead and make your case WITH LINKS TO FACTS.

Most actually had very unlflattering headlines that appear to support MY contentions rather than yours, though it is acknowledged that the USA is NOT a dying country about to fade into history with covid...it *WILL* recover in time, although to return fully to the good economy of the past 6 years may take longer than many expect.

Fubah...You are so full of it. When Trump closed our borders to China your choice (Biden) mocked the decision. Go back and watch the tape. You blaming 136K deaths on Trump is exactly what we Republicans expect of you Democrats.

Keep up the good work. You have almost 5 more years to go.

Raiders, you have a better chance at walking on water and then turning the water you just walked on into wine then changing the minds of some of the folks here. All fubah has the time to concentrate on is how to say the same thing in 1000 different threads. He is of narrow mind. Narrow minds are not capable of change.

Folks, this is your typical Democrat.

They do not go out and make things happen for themselves so they might have a door that opens into the fresh air. They sit back and take everything Democratic leadership hands them. They are "net takers" as opposed to "tax payers" and supporters of the country. You mention the national debt like it's all Trump's fault while 5.6% of GOVERNMENT SPENDING is spent on WELFARE for the people whom did not succeed in life. Some collecting the 5.6% are unlucky hard workers, some have disabilities, and some are just plain lazy losers that have figured out how to scam the government. All are provided for in this great country. Trump's response to this pandemic was to provide this group with an unprecedented level of financial aid, yet you somehow now also blame him for our spiraling debt.

These people collect the 5.6% sit back while taking and taking and taking and blame Trump for everything under the sun.

Dallas and Miami are nowhere near the size of Chicago or NY.  More people, more assholes it's really that simple.  St. Louis and Baltimore, you may be able to make an argument for.  That being said, I'm not going to pretend I know what's going on in those cities that has caused the influx of excessive violence.

Being from Chicago I can tell you no one in the nonviolent neighborhoods are going out in fear of being blown away.  You have some neighborhoods in certain areas that have a influx of gang violence.  It absolutely brutal but it's not easy to stop gang violence without drastic measures that would violate people's rights.  If a republican was running Chicago, there will still be an influx of violence.  Political affiliation of the city's leadership doesn't stop criminals contrary to what you might believe.  Your post was disingenuous and partisan BS at best.

Percentages vary, but cities with the most violence have widely reported that alarming percentages of arrested protesters were from out of state. Some cities say 20%, some say as much as 25%.

So. A logical mind might come to the the conclusion that a very large percentage of the violent protestors were "manufactured violence". Further proof is in the FACT that pallets and pallets of bricks and large rocks were delivered randomly across our country during the month of June?

I would love to see the paper trail on the payments for said bricks and rocks.

George Soros is a big part of the problem but it is widely rumored that he only pays 10% of the losers that he "hires". The other 90% must be really angry now?

This is something that has never been done anywhere in the history of the world.  We do not do it.  Even North Korea did not do it.  China did not do it.

So, how, or even why, would you expect Trump to do this?

For one thing --quarantining of healthy folks has never been done and there is no evidence to show it would have worked here.

To blame Trump for NOT doing something that has NEVER been done and would NOT even work does not make sense to me.

Now it looks like you just are mindlessly blaming Trump for any and everything with unsound reasoning.

Furthermore, analysts are saying that many of the lost jobs will never come back. Bring & mortar stores for many consumer products have way more good days behind them than ahead of them. Tourism and hospitality industries are the hardest hit and many won't be able to come back from what we can logically expect to be a vast reduction in tourism for AT LEAST a full year if not 2 or 3 before finally rebounding to pre-pandemic levels. Unfortunately, those industries are served by minorities in particular. So not only is hispanic and black unemployment right now worse than whites, it's expected to be even worse as the weeks roll on. trump will no longer be able to make that boast truthfully....although he will anyway.

I disagree  --- I think there are people disputing that now.  Lots of folks did think it would slowly rebound.  However, when it started rebounding quicker than they thought -- now some are saying it will not be so slow.

Again, my point is it will not be 'AT LEAST a full year if not 2 or 3 years'.  If Trump is reelected --the economy is KEY, once again.

I understand if Biden is elected -- economy is NOT KEY.

My point still stands -- Trump is better than Biden for the economy.  Because we know he can turn it around.

That was exactly the point.  A lot of those guys fully expected a very, very slow recovery.  But it was happening much quicker than they predicted.  Now the media and left are gleeful that the cases instead of deaths can slow it down again -- so, hopefully, Biden can win.

I absolutely disagree.  I think you will be amazed at what happens as things open back up and folks get back to work.  How many 'weeks' would you say? 5 or 6?  10 or 12?  Look at the charts that track this stuff.  There is no reason not to go back to work as these things get lifted and clear up.

Fubah....you conveniently avoided responding to my 5.6% comment on government spending being on welfare. Was there a reason for this...wink, wink?

You have been exposed in this thread and for all intents and purposes have lost this debate. Now it's time for you to go cash that government check.....run along now.

I'd bet money democrats pay more overall in taxes than republicans. And i'm not a democrat but it's just common sense. Where is the money in this country? In those shithole democratic cities and states everyone is always referring to. The narrative that republicans are all hardworking, taxpaying patriots and all democrats are welfare recipients and anarchists is just plain false.

You might be right and you might be wrong and perhaps I did spin a narrative. Most of the dems here present their anti Trump narrative 24/7/365. Sometimes a little tit for tat is justified.

And I would like to hear from Fubah on why it's suddenly all Trump's fault on the national debt problem we have in this country? Apparently Fubah has gone into hiding but my money is on him surfacing soon with another anti Trump post.

All of Trump's fault? I may be wrong but I don't know that fubah made that statement.

There's plenty of blame to go around & no list would be complete without Congress and the Trump administration at the top of the list. But here's a fact that can't be denied....

Since Watergate, every Democratic President has left office with a deficit smaller than when they started and every Republican President has left office with a deficit larger than when they arrived in office.

This pattern is not going to change in 2020.

Fubah2 is right.  Growth in GDP and jobs of Obama's last 3 years outperformed Trump's first 3 years.  US economy didn't improve as growth slow down.  Cspan survey of over 70 historians rank Obama as 8th best president in economic management despite multiple virus outbreaks.  His legacy is helping US recover from the worst recession since the great depression.  Trump is lucky to inherit Obama's longest economic expansion in US history.  But Trump's failure in handling pandemic has lead US into a recession.  Other countries are recovering sooner.

University of Chicago survey of 50 leading economists nearly unanimously conclude Trump's policies are destructive to US economy.  Failing grades in trade, fiscal and monetary policies.  According to University of Pennsylvania, Trump's 1-in-2-out regulatory rollbacks have been a policy failure.  Benefits of regulation are underestimated while costs are exaggerated to cook the books.

Trump will never win .... unless he finds the vaccine., and even then still no approval.  No matter what he does it's all wrong in the eyes of the left.

Hey Fubah.... I didn't have to look far to support my earlier statement that O`Obama presided over the weakest economic recovery since WWII.  I even found a CNN link which you will find user friendly.   Lol.
