come on bowslit...  you spend so much time trying to talk about me that you avoid the issue/topic of the thread... mainly because you lack the ability to engage in a conversation...

Plus once you have sarasotaSpin coming in right behind you again it is obvious what you are...

but linking obamacare with a need for an increased need to identify illegal immigrants to avoid from giving them coverage under obama care it actually increases the over all cost of obama and increases the size of government and utilization of government funds and resource towards the issue of illegal immigrants...

    and then complain about spending...

But the end effect is that it turns off populations like the latino voters who are sensitive to that issue... But perhaps that is the whole point in that if it appealed the majority it would matter if the latino minority of voters were turned off...

any time you want to comment on the points I make concerning the topic of the thread, I would be happy to engage in a discussion...

But Im guessing it will be more of rambling on about your obsession with me...

but linking obamacare with a need for an increased need to identify illegal immigrants to avoid from giving them coverage under obama care it actually increases the over all cost of obama and increases the size of government and utilization of government funds and resource towards the issue of illegal immigrants...

    and then complain about spending...

But the end effect is that it turns off populations like the latino voters who are sensitive to that issue... But perhaps that is the whole point in that if it appealed the majority it would matter if the latino minority of voters were turned off...

The initial GOP strategy with obamacare was to bring up the point of illegals being covered by obamacare and that if obama refuted this then he was lying as the obama rhetoric had been preaching before he took office...  that he was a liar and could not be trusted...

My point is that republicans concede most of the latino vote. They know that most of the latino's will vote for the party that gives them the most handouts. What republicans did 2 or 3 years ago will not be remembered.

Exactly. Just like the 1% who also vote for the party that will give them the most handouts... and coincidentally, are the only segment of society the GOP is willing to represent.

Think about that for a minute. If the GOP only got the 1% and conceded the latinos wouldnt that set them up to be defeated by a landslide every election? There are more than the 1% ers that vote GOP.

You're missing the point in many ways... Who the GOP represent, and who votes for the GOP, are not necessarily the same thing.

In this case, there is a huge gap.

Back to the post that said, "Are you supposed to promise goodies to get voters, play Santa Claus?"

Don't candidated do that anyways?  And MOST Amreicans STILL aren't tuned into this election yet.  A guestimate:  A very high percentage of Americans are being so turned off by the political system that they will tune OUT until the very last minute.  Most of them don't even know a few things about Romney or Santorum, of course Obama's been in office, so they know him.  I've been out there talking with people and very few of them even watched one Republican debate.  Their attitude is:  They're all the same, crooks!  Which ironically is what those of us who DO pay attention to feel.  I really feel that those who hold office actually depend on the vast majority tuning out, it's better for their image.

The only changing demographic is the swing or independant voters.

If you are for small government, pro life, government only doing what we can't do for ourselves then you vote for the GOP.

If you believe in the right of a woman to snuff out a fetus, unlimited government handouts, entitlements, teachers unions, high pensions for government employees, affirmative action. Then you vote for the libs.

"Unlimited Government Handouts", You mean this is an exclusive action done only by Democrats?  Have you heard of:  Bailouts?  Tax Breaks?  No-bid Contracts?  Subsidies for Filfthy Rich Oil Companies?  Subsidies for Millionaire Race Horse Owners?

    Where have you been?
