I did say that economically they are almost on a par with us in a capitalistic sense.
Next time you go there, try spending more than a day just seeing the Great Wall, or whatever touristy spot you went to.....if indeed you actually went there.
By the way.....describe the design of the visa stamp that you have in your passport that granted you entrance into that country and what category was it?
How many days was it for?

On the contrary: if it is relevant to the current conversation, they aren’t asked ad nauseum, and the guy asking it isn’t being a complete dick, I don’t mind it at all.

This is a country that now harbors the second biggest population of billionaires on the planet, the fourth biggest population of millionaires on the planet, and probably within 15 to 20 years will be the numero uno economic power on the face of the Earth.
Not too shabby for a bunch of commies, as you call them. They are essentially beating Western capitalists at every turn of the game.
In the metropolitan areas, the Chinese kids are receiving a better education than can be said for the metropolitan areas of the US.
American-educated Chinese Ph.D. scientists and engineers numbering in the thousands, are increasing every year, and returning to China to put that knowledge to work.
What is going on technology-wise in China is the New Wild Wild West....you have an idea...you can run with it. And since they have no compunction about stealing intellectual property rights, they are becoming the biggest player in all areas of technological innovation (irregardless of the crap you see them producing and selling to WalMart).
So continue with your "USA...USA" chants...it just shows how little you know of the world outside the trailer park you live in.

There are groups of numbers and letters circling the oval design. One of the groups is “0552005.” There are six characters at the top and the first one looks kind of like a tomahawk. The bottom has the year and is followed by “0022” and above that is three more characters with a larger than normal space between the first and second. Category L and I was there for 10 days.

why did you change your location from kansas to kyrgyzstan? better educational opportunities, particularly in the sciences department?
For some reason the same few people arguing with you in the box or in the political forum just doesn’t have the same amount of humor to it as about half a dozen strangers joining in laughing at how ridiculous you are in a baseball forum thread to the point where you can't even muster a comeback.
