That you think you have ever been the most “free” country is part of the problem though - you have never had a “freedom” I don’t apart from carrying firearms in public - and I have atleast 3-4 I can remember off the top off my head you have never had - maybe even have never heard of - you have always been an unknowingly slave to money
The person who says "slave to money"
In Denmark, the average tax rate for residents can be quite high, with total income tax rates reaching up to approximately 57% when combining state, municipal, and labor market taxes. The exact amount varies based on income level and municipality, but high earners typically face higher rates due to the progressive tax system.
Too funny.

I found an American family living in Denmark that explains the difference between the two systems - I thought that was the best solution since they know how retarded the average American mind is - so they know how to explain it — and without going into details how much my taxes cover yours don’t - I will just say it like this - taxes don’t make you a slave to money - debt and your pay-to-win society do !

An ICE agent [trump Gestapo] was in court recently to explain why he fired tear gas at peaceful demonstrators. He told the judge he was justified because HE was attacked and hit on the head by a rock... Later, he admitted he was NOT attacked and NOT struck on the head. That goose-stepping MAGA *LIED* in court to a Judge. Normally, anyone else in that position would be in serious trouble. But it is trump's DOJ that must bring charges against him ...if at all. The lying asshole, just like trump, will escape accountability....
Why is truth, the facts, twisted so often?
From ABC;
Mr. Bovino and the Department of Homeland Security claimed that he had been hit by a rock in the head before throwing the tear gas, but video evidence disproves this. And he ultimately admitted he was not hit until after he threw the tear gas," Ellis said Thursday.
"The mob of rioters grew more hostile and violent, advancing toward agents and began throwing rocks and other objects at agents, including one that struck Chief Greg Bovino in the head," Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement after the incident.
So he was attacked and struck on the head. After the tear gas.
Reminds me of Jan 6th when Capitol Police threw flash bangs into a crowd of protestors before the violence erupted.

I watched the video. Was municipal taxes included? What about that 25% VAT tax on most goods and services?
And if that couple came from a red state like Florida, no state income tax. So I asked who gets more for their money, Americans or Danes with $100,000 dollar income? The response was;
Americans generally have a higher living standard compared to Danes, with Danish-Americans earning about 55% more than those living in Denmark. Therefore, a $100,000 income would likely provide a better standard of living for Americans than for Danes.

Just a couple of checks; A new Volkswagon Tiguan in Denmark is $84,978 us dollars. Same car in United States is $30,000 to $43,000 dollars. Want to put fuel in it? Denmark it's about $7.50 a gallon. Right now about $2.85 a gallon here. No wonder you folks over there keep your border shut. Imagine your border open for four years like it was here, you would be bankrupt!!
You do realise that high prices indicate your country is rich right ? - that is why you can buy cheaper items etc in Africa or South America than you can in Northern or Western Europe - you clearly trying to form a narrative that isn’t there

And most Danes don’t even buy a car if you live in Copenhagen (because it is a pain in the butt to find parking) - and our infrastructure is so good not only can you go wherever you want within Denmark - you can also travel pretty much all around Europe faster than you would in a car - there are high speed train connections to every major city in Europe - and Copenhagen is one of the metropoles

It isn’t about higher living standards - it is about quality of life - while you are busy slaving your life away at the job - using the little amount of free time you have counting the money you have earned - the average European worker works 10 hours less a week - 6 weeks mandated holidays a year minimum - paid pension for everyone - 52 weeks paid maternity leave etc. etc. - tell me who of those two lifestyles would the aliens point out as the “slave” if they were presented of those two with no other context - that you aren’t considerably more rich as a nation than we are is actually kind of pathetic - since that is all you even care about - money money money !!

That was Duckduckgo Search assistant, not my words.
Another query; Why are cars so expensive in Denmark?
Cars in Denmark are expensive primarily due to high taxes, including a registration tax that can reach up to 180% of the car's purchase price, along with value-added tax (VAT) of 25%. These taxes are intended to discourage car ownership and promote environmentally friendly transportation options like cycling.
You can have that!! Denmark has four times as many people per square mile than the United States. So your packed in, no parking available, that doesn't matter cause they don't want you to have a car unless your wealthy.
Quality of life? My wooded property is about 23ha. My truck is 6.7 meters long and pulls a fifth wheel trailer that is 12.2 meters long.and has four slide outs. ( I don't think Europe knows what a slide-out is) This gives me a little over 37 square meters of living space while traveling the United States. Cost about 2,980 kroner to drive 1,000 miles on diesel fuel.
I guess if your a city rat used to congestion you like it. That's not for me. To each his own.

And I'll add; Just a middle class American. Not rich by any means. And Merry Christmas and happy holidays to ALL!!!
Always like to hear a little bit about the person behind the username. I've learned that you enjoy taking your RV around our beautiful country & your home is in a more rural environment rather than a small Michigan city. In the spirit of sharing, here's a little something about me. Hope I haven't mentioned this before but...
I was born on Christmas Day, my Mom's name was Mary & my Dad was a carpenter. As my Mom gave birth to me, she heard the hospital choir in the chapel singing "Glory to the New Born King."
My Mom wanted to name me Carol if a girl (I guess for a Christmas baby) or Noel after the hymn of the same name if I was a boy. My Dad put his foot down & said no way; with a name like Noel, he'll get his ass kicked every day at school. Glad my Dad won the decision & no offense to anyone named Noel.
Best wishes to all.

But you talking to me like I have a secret desire for you to come here or acknowledge that Denmark is better than US ! I don’t care what you think (and Europes problem is we are too many people here and too many Americans etc. that want to move here - not the opposite) - but you live in a pay-to-win society over there - which makes you a slave to money - that was all I said - and a car in US is cheap because your infrastructure is shit - you could also say it like that (so they want everyone to buy a car so they shouldn’t better your life in that regard)

And you are not wealthy in DK to be able to put down 90k USD for a car - the worst “job situation” as an adult you get 2400 usd a month and that if you don’t have a job - within my field I have never heard of someone making less than 190 USD pr hour

Funny story on your name. My father once said I was lucky my name wasn't Sue after Johnny Cash's song Boy named Sue. He was a Johnny Cash fan. Of course the song came out well after I was born.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIDNIGHT AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!! (Must have sucked as a kid having your birthday on Christmas.)

Actually, my parents were always fair to me & my other 3 siblings. Christmas morning ended at noon & that's when my birthday would begin.

Merry Christmas to you as well.
Grandkids will be over for the Lions game, so I have a little bit of peace until the craziness begins.

It's crazy because he's straight up known to be a complete scumbag in all facets of his life, but somehow they justify it as "just doing business".
Then they draw the line at being a pd4ile but they (self-proclaimed Christians) will make excuses for anything and everything that he does - even though he's completely morally and ethically bankrupt. To the point where they'll turn on police, the military, the Pope - whoever it is that happens to disagree with them.

Racism is a strong force - it was the reason for a world war and your civil war + like a bazillion other conflicts ! The hate consumes their personality - 20-25% of his supporters will never leave him as long as he hurts immigrants - sad but true
Don't mention the frogs - we don't want to scare the toddler - we want him to sleep

Btw pedophilia has never been the stopping point for religious people (that is the stopping point for decent people - religious or not) - the Catholic Church has had more pedophile cases than any other entity I can think of ! Religion is used to keep you controlled and in-line and most importantly as a way to extort money from you - if religious people need to believe in something greater to give their life purpose etc. by all means do so - but I hate those that preach like they are better than others for believing - because those kind of people has been nothing but a parasite to this world through history
