It is amazing to me how Dem's take for granted the "brown" vote. Somebody who does this for a living could make th case that the Latino vote in Texas could swing to the Right as evidenced by the possible election of Ted Cruz.

    On the constitution:

The document does little but provide an outline for how government should work.
    This should never ever change.
It also lists rights that are not to be fucked with
    Which would you give back.

I hear this tripe all the time about the constitution being outdated.

What do you want? an amendment for your fucking IPAD.

The constitution has an amendment process by which it can be changed.  It has been changed before.
It is the single best founding document that sets up the single best government in the world. If it were adhered to.
If the constitution did not exist. do you think you would have more rights or less?

Who would make the new rules?

People hate to forget that the sentiment within the constitution for every man being created equal was the basis of the abolitionism , and the civil rights movement.  Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. quoted the bill of rights numerous times.

you cannot have it both ways. you continually whinge and complain about the sorry state of affairs in this country. you complain about obama. you complain about everything about this country.

then with a straight face you tell me the document that created this abortion of a fiasco that is our current government is perfect.

jesus do you listen to yourself???

here are a few things i would change

    - the amendment process is a joke 2/3? jesus. you think the framers of the constitution went around fledgling america and got 2/3 of the american people to agree on their document? please. they got white guys to agree and said f you to the women and the slaves.

    - the senate is ridiculous. no reason on earth south dakota should have the same vote as california.

    - the commerce clause is old outdated and not relevant for this day and age

    - terms of the president and congress need to be adjusted. too much time spent campaigning

    - supreme court justice term is ridiculous. lifetime really? you have a bunch of incontinent retards totally out of touch with america

    - the electoral college is a mess. get rid of it

    - more needs to be done to protect individuals privacy in a highly technology invasive all seeing world

i am absolutely certain i know more about the constitution and have thought more about it than you have. you use it as some divine document. it isnt.

just to remind you this document emerged because a shitty government did shitty things to people. our current government structure is doing a lot of shitty things to people right now. if there is revolution the writers of the new document will think they shit roses and piss wine. it is all bull shit...they were just MEN and any documents they create are fallible just like the men that created them.

i now await some silly b.s. about how i hate america and if you don't like the usa leave...blah blah blah...

Sorry, not crickets, I just have real world things to do. I can't sit around waiting for your vastly superior posts about how much more you understand than me.

First off.  Yes I complain about how things are now, because we have strayed from the constitution.
Executive power is bloated, the constitution tries to prevent this.

    - the amendment process is a joke 2/3? jesus. you think the framers of the constitution went around fledgling america and got 2/3 of the american people to agree on their document? please. they got white guys to agree and said f you to the women and the slaves.

Disagree,  I think that the amendment process is good.  It means you can not make a change with a simple majority.  Mob rule is the downfall to all Democracies.

    - the senate is ridiculous. no reason on earth south dakota should have the same vote as california.

Actually there is a reason.  The houses of congress are split.  One has equal representation by state, one by population. This is a balance of power so a strong state can not gang up on a weak state. Of course you probably learned this when you got your Constitutional Law degree.  You are promoting dissolving the Senate?
    Good luck.

    - the commerce clause is old outdated and not relevant for this day and age

Sure,  I agree I feel that there would be a lot of support for changing this clause. I think that the vagueness of it lends itself to abuse,  IE the FBI and Obamacare.

    - terms of the president and congress need to be adjusted. too much time spent campaigning

I might agree to term limits.  IF it was passed through the amendment process. I don't see the point in adjusting the terms. I do see a huge need for finance reform.

    - supreme court justice term is ridiculous. lifetime really? you have a bunch of incontinent retards totally out of touch with america

I understand the need for justices to feel secure in their position, but agree now that people can live into their 100's, an amendment could be needed so the members of the SC are cogent and able to preform their duties.

    - the electoral college is a mess. get rid of it
    Agree.

    - more needs to be done to protect individuals privacy in a highly technology invasive all seeing world

The constituion provides individuals with privacy and security.  There is no reason it should not carry over to the tech world. If you want to add an amendment to re-affirm the 4th amendment in the virtual world.  More power to you.

i am absolutely certain i know more about the constitution and have thought more about it than you have. you use it as some divine document. it isnt.

    Your insecurity is adorable.
