Military bases have strict gun safety regulations.  Guns are stored locked and unloaded when not in use.  Personnel are prohibited from carrying personal guns unless authorized by senior officer.  Research shows states with weakest gun laws have higher rates of gun violence.  More guns in more places don't make US safer.  If they did, US should be the safest country in the world.  Instead US has 25 times the gun homicide rate as peer nations.

This is satire right??? I think you meant the right has been jumping through hoops, including your boy the President himself who immediately blamed the left via a public address before even having a suspect in custody (third times the charm). It's comical that you actually wrote that and believe it. Lance Triggs himself finds that funny too. I guess you missed the point on Owens and Bannon. They are two of the biggest morons on the planet and they can even see the right is being played and the text message chain is so obviously fake or AI generated.

The focus on a sexual identity of a killer in order to frame a political narrative is disgusting and definitely not what Christ would do.

 Most of these people think because we don't side with them on their views that Trump is our boy even if it is repeatedly stated that he is not or you are not affiliated with that party....it's quite the fascinating really....most are so hell bent on categorizing someone so they can then make off handed comments and put you down in some way...the socioeconomics in here is riveting

Can't wait to read the history of our time on earth & whether I'll agree with what I read.

 Not my intent at all to bash this Twigg kid. He was apparently very shocked that Robinson would do that. He has his life and his choices to make. Good luck. Too bad he got mixed up in it.

No, it's watching the reaction afterwards. First is Kirk was an "extremist", he used his mouth to make millions, etc. So first there is this  "he had it coming". Second was the complete absense and denial that this LDS young man was lovers with a transexual. Every left leaning news outlet exposed themselves with this. If they even remotely investigated, they knew. I'm embarrassed for them. Facts are facts. And if it's a "so what issue", why refuse to print it? Thats why I posted the Fox News story and said I stand behind it. Now that really bent a few here. Why? I can only believe they're full of hate. 

Third is the celebration lap so many have done. Damaging memorials, reenacting the event. WTF is wrong with these folks? Kirk talked and then let others have the mic. Not like he had a band of proud boys to beat the asses of anyone who thinks different. Was it because he was succesful? Guess so. Reminds me of that gal, Riley Gains, she has a personal cause and the left tries to kick her ass in San Fran. for expressing her views. Keep it up, you will lose in long run.

No, it's not the fact there is a transexual involved, it's the complete attempt to bury it, deny it, and justify the murder. 

Another belief I have. Lived myself in an LDS community near St George for 7 years. Lot of great people and many strange. The LDS mainly stuck to themselves, their kids closely guarded in the community. Believe this kid Robinson grew up in that closely knit life style with inner homosexual desires surpressed. Top student in that enviroment until he was released into the real world. He lasted one semester in college and then what? What did he do to survive? Job? Just playing internet games? Hmmmm. Believe his upbringing, depressed desires, and then meets the real world was too much for him and he swung hard in a different direction. Not a psycholgist but I see it happening. It's tragic, Kirk is gone, his daughters don't have a daddy and Robinson's life is over. 

Apparently he was in an electrical apprenticeship. That's one thing about the LDS in Utah. They control all the trades.

 Two things...I have lived around MANY (still do now) LDS people and I would say that my comment about social groups applies here just the same, you take 1000 LDS and evaluate them you will find many similar tendencies that you find in any large group in society. One thing is that the LDS faith has blind and ultra conservative members that are closet GOP ultras that use their religion to validate some NON Christian viewpoints. Anyone who validates biases and far right views off the Old Test and ignores the very simple basic precepts of Christ is NOT CHRISTIAN. Ive known hundreds of LDS friends and people, neighbors co-workers etc and more than most social circles many of them are biased, discriminatory, racist and/or sexist and hide behind their religion to feed these biases.

Second, all of your reply has zero to do with Christ or being a Christian, is what you said the way Christ would handle someone who had these issues? Are we Christian or not? I dont care all of the drama going on with others but I can say strongly that Kirk was not Christian, he relied on OT nonsense which Christ completely removed and established a HIGHER LAW, Kirk was a biased and blame oriented false prophet seeking to be a money changer in the temple. One of the ONLY instances of Christ being angry was chasing out money changers from the temple and Kirk was a money changer.

Kinda reminds me of this place.

To be fair, late night talk is dead as a format and networks have been looking for their escape clauses. The political stuff, with respects to Colbert and Kimmel, just became their convenient excuse for Disney and Skydance. With Skydance, Oracle's government contracts were surely a factor but they wanted out anyway.

 Colbert has implied many times that his ouster was the clinch pin of the merger approval that had BILLIONS of dollars of impact for management and shareholders, no question in my mind that the cancellation was to clear the merger. Trump uses legal and financial weapons to get his way and I am not sure why as a country we continue to allow it.  His actions are fascist, this is how a dictator behaves to control by lawyers and financial oppression for the purpose of gaining advantage.

 The public does not seem to care that the so-called leader of the country dominates and destroys our rights and liberties so he can get what he wants..this is very telling about the core deep rooted biases that society has and look the other way and actually agree and cheer his authoritarian advances.

Like Colbert or not this take down is for sure not in support of the constitution and leads the US down the wrong path towards large scale social harm (removal of rights and government overreach)

A late night host made a comment about Kirk's death.

A political commentator suggested we should euthanize homeless people. 

Which one do you think lost their job?

 Well it has everything because the title of this thread is about Kirk and a large part of the thread is about the sexual preferences and approaches of the person who committed the crime and how the religious right have pigeon holed and demonized the guy based on these precepts. So religious concepts have an enormous part in this discussion from every single angle.

I wondered why the LDS media came out with a statement within moments of the event, well it did not take long to find out why.
