I don't think she's qualified, although she has done enough charity organizational work to probably be able to manage the 100 days of actual work per year required of a Senator, and she'll rock the publicity events. Let's face it, it really isn't rocket science. Show up. Vote according to party lines. Raise money. Done.

All I'm saying is that from a purely entertainment value, I hope she gets in. It'll give me another reason to watch Hannity and get involved in debates like this. Fun.

Palin was NOT qualified to be VP that whole ordeal was a traveshamockey. McCain isn't that dumb, he cant be, please tell me the runner up to be President isn't that dumb to pick Palin. Somebody else called that one down from the higher ranks.
Like many others I have nothing against her but this is getting outlandish, or moreso than it already is. Your last name doesn't mean shit or shouldn't. I understand she's a Kennedy and I respect that and they are great family (IMO JFK saw this coming)but at least the others had some credentials! This is basically "I support Obama" followed by "Can I have the Senate seat now?"
There's a reason why people like Alex Jones are so angry it's because this country has lost it's God damned mind! I can't even fathom what people from other countries (other leaders for that matter) are thinking about our country. If the US was a person they would be put in a straightjacket and placed in a padded room after some of this shit.
For the people that look at this stuff purely as entertainment I envy you, hell I used to be you...back when it was acceptable to sweep it under the rug. Things have gotten so out of hand it's no longer "entertainment" or it shouldnt be. If people are as apathetic as they appear to be about our situation then I guess the dumbing down of the American people worked because I'd like to think people at one time were smarter than this.
It's everyday too! Something absurd happens EVERY DAY it seems. Pretty soon people are gonna be slinging shit at each other (literally) and it's still going to be looked at as entertainment or another outlandish story that's too far fetched to believe thats true!
Also someone above pointed out that all that matters anymore is a name and public appearence/personalities. You're right, 100% right. IMO the main reason Obama got elected is because we are in such a state of shit that people were willing to take that leap of faith hoping he'll be "The One" The one to bail us out of all our problems, the one to fix everything. He ain't Neo and this ain't the Matrix people, you better wake up come January because it's very possible you made a grave grave mistake.
Fran Drescher?!?! somebody should be electroshocked. Just because you watch them on TV doesn't mean they should be in charge of anything!!! If that were the case then somebody should appoint Adrian Pasdar to something because Nathan Petrelli could do a hell of a lot better than some of these bastards!
