I just can't get enough of this CBI action. We could see 3 straight games between Wyoming and Coastal Carolina. 

Let's assume that these 2 offense first teams are going to have some fun tonite. WY/CC Over 153.

Of course this is mainly a fade of Scalabrine and the rest of the pseudo sharps in the NCAAB forum. TCU Coach Jamie Dixon is a regular to this Madison Square Garden atmosphere after coaching Pitt here so many times. This is culture shock for the poor UCF kids who had very low expectations this year. I think they flat out choke in the moment.

Scal through 25 games is 9-16 for an anemic 36% 

If the self proclaimed "70% capper" went 25-0 over his next 25 games, he still would only be at 68%

35-28 So after the 2 teams combine for 172 points in game 1, they open the total 2 points higher and the people have bet it up a bit more. Problem is, we have a starting PG on CC who is out and a scoring F who is questionable. Wyoming also has a starting F who is doubtful. What does a coach do when his lineups get shuffled in an important game? Preach defense. After all, scoring is talent but defense is effort.Bring on the effort scrubs, if you please.  WY/CC Under 156.5

36-28  Both GT and TCU entered the NIT slumping and both have come out balling so far. So I'm interested in how the numbers look over the last 4 games within the NIT. Let me tell you, based on just those, it's surprising that Tech isn't the 4 point favorite. Let's play the logical angle :

Coastal Carolina’s shooting percentage of 31.3 was the worst by a Wyoming opponent this calendar year, and its 3-point percentage of 19.2 was the second-worst performance against Wyoming all season.

36-29  I'm going to take a shot at backing CC here with the 8 points. I've been to the Rockies and it does take a few days to get used to it. I think they'll be much better tonite. Interestingly enough last game, CC had 9 steals and created 13 turnovers. They only turned it over 9 times themselves. That's a positive sign in a game which you got beat badly in. If the shots start dropping, this will be a close one.

36-30  Gonzo has held all of their opponents well below their usual shot%. SoCar has exceeded their shot % by more than 5% in the tourney. But they haven't played a defense like Gonzaga yet. When the shots stop falling for SoCar, they'll be in big trouble. Nevertheless, I've been so impressed with their energy level. They have a top 5 perimeter defense and rarely let a shot go uncontested. The proper answer is:
