Lets get one thing straight right now. I don't give a rats ass about the book. People saying you would never let this information out if it was legit. Im working for $6 an hour, even if I was getting paid $2000 an hour, I would not care about keeping the information unless I owned the book or had any take of how much the book made. The point of these forums are to beat the book and win money, that is exactly what I am doing. As to the guy is hunting me down through his connections to get me fired. Go for it! Where the hell of OU come from? I think they are asking the same question. Quietly flying under the radar and then all of the sudden they have the biggest target in the nation on their back with a big #1 beside their names wherever they go. I know every team wants to be number one but I have a feeling that this is not exactly where the Sooners want to be so early in the season with games against Missouri, Texas A&M & Tech and then on the road in Ok St. to end the season. No to worry Sooner fans, you should have plenty of time to grind your way back from 8 or 9th ranked to number 1 after this loss tonight.
I think were giving Oklahoma a little too much respect here. I mean they just snuck out of Cincinnati with a 2 point win in their only other road game this season. At home they have beat Utah State 
by 7, FSU by 30 
, Air Force by 3 , Texas by 8, and Iowa State by 52. Missouri has not been great, but they have been rolling through games landing at 6-0 so far. They have the second best points against margin in the country allowing 10.9 points per game defensively while scoring 35 a game offensively.
The fact that this spread is only three jumped out at me right away. The fact is has stayed there regardless of getting pounded all week long has me grinning ear to ear. In the first week as number one bettors rushed to put 71% of the bets in favor of the Sooners. Money wise it has been even worse. Since the #1 tag was applied on Sunday nearly 77% of the money has been on OU including 8 of the 9 bets booked over $6000.
The big money is on OU, the small money is on OU, but my money and the smart money is on Missouri.
Maxing this one out for $2000 and BUYING THE HALF POINT, which I never ever do, but in this case I would be kicking myself for the next month if Oklahoma comes away with a last second field goal. A dime and a nickle more on the dollar for piece of mind sounds good to me.
