What’s the big deal guys. If LC wants to go tout we’ll still be able to get his plays one way or another. If he wants to put money over respect then so be it, that’s on him. Hope he doesn’t but that’s what’s its looking like. We’ll be good with or without him or even his picks, unless he’s leaving for a different reason which I would respect. IF you love something set it free. Love you LC.

The ONLY thing that matters on a message board, if you post plays, is:

1) If you win, people will follow, and your reward is their thanks. That's it. You share your plays and you lose, you'll be defamed. If you win, you'll be thanked by a nameless faceless mass. There's honor in that in that there's no monetary reward but simply anonymous adulation which is worth, basically nothing.

2) If you win, you do NOT use this message board as a spring board to build up a client base to go tout.

Those have been the two posting dictums since Wagerline.

Again, I have more corroborating evidence. Sometimes life or death in a court depends on corroborating evidence. There is and almost never will be a smoking gun. So corroborating evidence we will use to get to the truth.

I am a CFB, NFL, NBA and CBB and exotics capper and that's it.

I started SOLELY as an NBA capper on Wagerline. 

 I cap the NBA no more (because the game has changed DRASTICALLY with the embracing of 3 point line and my results capping the NBA have suffered because of it, so I've moved to the grass and turf of the NFL and CFB) but I do read the threads in the NBA forum and I will say this definitively:

In all the years I've been on this site, in the NBA forum, LC was either:

1) COMPLETELY nonexistent;

2) Dropped in on a ultra-rare basis for a pick here and there, like any other non-consistent poster without a presence there.

Now, right before the NFL season is coming (his bread and butter), he posts....wait for it....








....wait for it some more....

All completely out of the blue! What a SURPRISE!

That's a win-win for a prospective tout. Why?

Cap well and people will be even MORE interested in your forthcoming NFL picks.

Cap at the Mendoza line, like he did, and you have gotten MASSIVE exposure for the next several months leading up to football. You did't 'lose' per se, but the free advertising is priceless.

Win-Win folks.

This guy is playing you all like a fiddle so hard, I can hear the aluminum strings snap as you reach for your debit card to buy his picks.

Gambolaholic, Thanks what i meant was the betting odds. Willian Hill Pays 3000 for 1 on 12 team cards.

I had no idea of the true odds. You say 1 in 4000. i guess there is no true odds, as it would only apply to a person picking 50/50 at random. I dont do this and since I do go on streaks every season of longer than that, the odds for me are much better. So I could honestly care less about any of those numbers. Those will only serve to hurt you if you truly believe YOUR odds of hitting is 1 in 4000 then thats all you will hit. This explains why most never go on 15-0 or better streaks! I have always believed the odds for me are guaranteed (1 out of 1) for me to hit these streaks virtually every season. And so it happens. So that's all that matters man. I do think if I could somehow take your advice, my life would be much better though.

LC’s start date here on Covers. June 2019 is our now. So LC has been on the 8 year plan building his client base to finally go tout? Good riddance what a patience business plan that is.

Good grief. Don’t be so silly gentlemen. There is no chance LC’s intention is or was to ever go tout. 

Either somebody is waiving a very lucrative offer in his face to advertise his services or he’s leaving us to pursue something outside of this industry.

Either one I will respect. Obviously I hope it’s a situation where we still get to see his picks.

If he’s using this nba season as a springboard to go tout, boy did he pick the wrong sport/season. If I remember correctly his peak this nba season was around the +50 units mark. Towards the end of the season, it was bleeding profits and probably lost 50% or more from the peak. Playoffs have been threading water. If Raptors don’t win it all, which seems almost 50/50 right now. Last time I checked both teams were -110 to win the series, he might end the season up 10 units? No one is going to rush to sign up for services from that kind of performance. Plus as the above poster stated, LC been a member since 2011. Wait 8 years to go tout? Boy does he have a lot of patience.

I also thought of that obvious thought. But you don't know what kind of personal issues he has right now. And you guys also dont seem to get that just because someone is a winning capper, DOES NOT MEAN THEY HAVE MONEY OR SHOULD HAVE MONEY. If someone is extremely ill, that alone will take virtually everything they've got and then some. More power to LC in whatever he does. Only people that hate touts are bookies IMO. Unless they talking about bad touts, ones who lose. Then yeah everyone should hate them as they're nothing more than scam artists.

Im late to the party and I havent read this entire thread but I've seen a few posts regarding touting. I've never understood why someone has to be a "tout" if they're good enough to win at their own plays. 
Furthermore, they'res a huge psychological disadvantage to posting plays as a tout as opposed to making a play for oneself. 
I suppose the volume of followers would make touting worthwhile initially,however, as soon the run goes cold, you're back to square one. 
Unless you're a bigshot in a highrise with sponsorships, the whole idea seems to be a dead end proposition.

So he’s striking while the iron is hot, per se.

It’s not an “8 year business plan.”

Megalocks and Oddsbuster and IndianCowboy most certainly never had the intention of becoming touts. But the opportunity presented itself.

I’ve had the opportunity. I’ve passed. Several times.

LC has been a class act and a stand up guy. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt that he’s not going tout but if in fact he is then so be it. To each their own. Then it would be thank you for all your contributions to the NFL & NBA forums but no thanks. Let’s see what he says next week

What if he's got cancer and is saying goodbye? Who knows. The reasons for leaving could be almost anything. 

I dont get why some of you (Scalabrine) just jump to your own conclusions for his reasoning (going tout) even though LC has said previously he will never go tout.  

He deserves to be given the benefit of the doubt. Everybody who's been on this forum for 5+ years and doesn't engage in negative banter deserves that at the very least.

LC is leaving Covers with his crowning jewel. A major upset in the NBA Finals. This is his Picasso, his legacy, his drop the fnk...Mic and walk off the stage. At this point he is the Pied Piper leading the Covers “Rats” followers through the “streets” forums.

This is a extraordinary way to go out and become a “ TOUT”. The buildup for the NFL season will be amazing for LC. I’m sure this thread might approach 50 pages in the near future. It will be mayhem. Where’s he at? Where can I buy his picks? Will his picks be posted in a free service play forum? etc....

There is no way he can come back now. If Toronto finishes off the Warriors on Monday his STOCK can not get any higher. That man will be raking up money come NFL and probably can charge whatever he wants and YOU will buy it!!!!
