Yes, I'm here for you. As always.

    Do I go tout? Never.

Do I always write it up for you like a forensic scientist turned capper? I do. Leaving no stoned unturned.

I always give you what you need. A winner.

And in the same breath, I call out Covers worst in both betting and tolerance.

I got in at -500 on Floyd and I'm more than fine with that. But am I posting that? No one needs help with that. That will not go into a posted record. That is a joke of a line to count as a win.

But as a bet for making money? Some padding for the upcoming CFB season?

This is quite possibly the worst odds I've ever seen on a dog.

And you should be embarrassed if you have money on Conor tonight, even at 6-1 odds and think you have sufficient long shot odds?

Mayweather opened in the first shop at -2500. And you get in at 5-1? 6-1? LOL.

A 0-0 fighter against one of the greatest defensive in-ring technicians of all time. And you think you have a shot? You think you are being compensated adequately.

And worse, what about a the psychological angles that I love?

What about the race angle? How can you explain Conor a 0-0 fighter against a 49-0 fighter at these odds?

I would LOVE to see the demographics of the bettors. This just shows how square and stupid bettors are. This is the greatest "great white hope" angle EVER. And you bet on that? Even greater than the "Bayonne Bleeder" that inspired the Rocky films. He was actually a boxer. Not this guy.

Who might I add, like Floyd, also RETIRED from his sport via twitter. And now he's going to beat Floyd. At his sport. At 49-0.

After telling him, in front of thousands and tens of millions watching at home, to 'dance for me boy'????

Really? You bet on Conor after he said that too? You think, as a black male, he's going to lose after being told that??? Stump if you have something to say about the race angle be honest. Don't put your head in the sand and make nice. It's all here, out in the great wide open.

And you think, one of the most prolific fighters ever in his weight class:

    a) Is going to lose to a 0-0 fighter
    b) Is going to lose to an openly racist Caucasian male (and whoever denies it, his comments are well-documented so argue with yourself) after he publicly defamed Floyd as some sort of minstrel show performer????

Ok! On the skill basis, it is the biggest mismatch of all time outside of Mitt Romney in a celebrity boxing match. On a psychological basis, it provides an enormous edge and motivation to Floyd.

This is the biggest JOKE in the HISTORY of pro boxing, a fight that is a circus side-show masquerading as a real right.

Per Floyd's mouth "Believe me, this isn't going the distance."

So my bet is this (and I always post current 5Dimes odds for the reader to have access, not MY odds when I got in earlier, why? It's called being an honest and forthright capper) and it has to be a partly because the odds are too long for Floyd to post alone:

    PARLAY:

    Floyd -620 over Conor
    WITH
    Triple G -155 over Saul Alvarez (9/16)

This pays out exactly $91 and that is exactly -110. That can be posted in the W-L record and you will be compensate adequately for that. No need to get into Tripe G now. Tonight is about Floyd vs. Conor.

So now, what do I want...

I want all the Covers posters, who bet on Conor, to man up and reveal yourselves as having any money on a fighter at the worst long shot odds in the history of the sport:

Shred your capper's card ASAP because you can't call yourself a capper after a bet like this. It's an embarrassment of the highest order.

Better yet, put your mouth under the shredder and let the capper's card shards fall in your mouth like linguine laced with clam sauce.

Cause your goose is cooked. Names. Right now. All the Conor bettors.

In this thread beneath this post.

Show yourself. The Emperors with no clothes. An embarrassment to capping.

Conor will go hard early and you think you'll have a shot like the 99-1 shot in a horse race running to the front of the pack to start, only to die in the stretch. He'll get a lick or two in and you'll overvalue his performance because all the drunk Irishmen with fall over themselves roaring over a single punch.

Well, all those Irish eyes are going be shedding a tsunami of tears when all is said and done baby...

    The diary of a madman.
This like your beloved WWE is not a boxing match but an exhibit of marketing excess. And it worked. The boxer will beat the fighter and take his own sweet time doing it to ensure the viewers have a reason to tune in to part 2 next year.

This is such a pointless, though quintessentially Scal, post. A simple "Who do you got?" would have sufficed. We all know that there are secret Conor backers out there. This is a race driven fight and there are plenty who will back Conor based solely on that. And I assume that's what you're trying to illustrate given your history of race baiting. ( I can't believe i'm using that term. I hate that term!) There are also those who would back Conor because he's the loooong dog. (Though not even close to long enough) And if you go into the boxing forum you'll see those who know boxing are all on Floyd, regardless of race. This thread is a joke and the box is where it belongs.

Oh wait, and he calls me out on the race issue and says "don't put my head in the sand" when I was the first one to bring up the race issue and offered it to Scal as an olive branch like, "Yo, you're the resident covers angle capper. You are versed in issues of race in this county. This is tee ball for a Scal write-up." and he scoffed and made some pretentious Scal comment. It just goes to show that even when you try to give this man credit, to complement him, he's combative and inflammatory.

Because he LOVES to hear himself talk. Making a thread bragging about Mayweather.

@Stump - in the box where it belongs.

I posted it in the box myself

Pointless thread from a poster who has his thumb up his as- when it comes to creating threads.

Yes "Who ya got?" Like saying Floyd is of worth at -620. You need to say more. A hell of a lot more. Learn how to post a thread Stump. Learn what it takes to write and debate and create winners.

You're joining your low class fray here, far faster than you think.

Lol. It's a thread to SHAME Conor bettors. But I'm sure you missed that. It's only in the TITLE of the thread

    @Stump - uh no. It's here because:

    1) I won't associate with the scum of GD
    2) the boxing forum is visited by at most 10 posters
    3) it doesn't belong in the politics forum.

But that may be too much for you to digest. Too many "excuses" as you say when commenting about voting for Hillary. Any argument with the slightest bit of nuance or complexity is rejected because your head is spinning.

It lacks merit but you gave it merit by agreeing the is a race driven fight.

This thread actually has a pick in it that will win and pay the same as any other.

But I bet you don't even know who Triple G is for me to address this further

No Scal, saw the thread title. It's simple. Who cares who is betting him. If they are, so be it. Is it YOUR money? Why the phuck do you feel the need to care? The point made is valid. You want to hear yourself take. True fact.

I for one would not put a penny on him, but could remotely give a flying phuck if someone else does. That would be beyond stupid and childish

I've had a Triple G bet locked in for weeks. I guarantee that you don't know boxing like me. And again, your obsession with emoticons. You're like a 13 year old japanese girl.

Is this fight even worth watching if you don't have money on it?  It would be nice to see Paddy Power get burnt again after prematurely paying out all Mayweather wagers like they did in late October for November's election.  I'm surprised they would do that again.

I'm sure Scal is still feeling that loss after disappearing from us for quite some time after the Trump victory; he must hate him even more.

Anyways, I'm sure >90% of the Covers community has the Floyd wager in place if it's indeed -500/-600.  Anyone that's wagering against the Uomo Nero is asking to lose their money.

Enjoy the fight fellas.  I'll save the 60 loot and catch the uneventful fight highlights tomorrow.

And on a side note, does anyone else here find it cute when ESPN explains how ML wagers work?  Cracks me up every time.

The only thing worse is the "Cousin Sal" segment during the NFL season.  As PC as Disney is, I'm surprised that they would stereotype Italian-Americans like they do with this ridiculous segment.  I feel highly offended!

Well let's see this flawed logic...

The same poster puts a UFC play in the College Football forum during bowl season but decides to post this in the PBox where only the so-called 'scum' of Covers resides.   Even anyone interested in his thoughts (if there are any left with any sort of bankroll) can't even find this thread if they run a search of his name on Covers.  But it's all about helping people, right?   For free!!!!

Yes, a 17 game sample lost a little... but you continue to ignore the full 4+ month profit of over $1600 on all football, probably because it was 5X what your tidy little 14-9 record netted....

    I got it at -500.

That is a great line. -620 is posted for the reader as I use the line at time of post.

Bovada doesn't accept American players from my state. So much for the horrible line.

@packers - first off It was never -400 at 5Dimes. That is my book. Keeping 50 books like you fools is nice but I'd rather focus on the best of the best and that is 5Dimes.

And -400 is not significantly different than -500 when you are using it to parlay.

Newsflash: posters will not always get the best number. They live lives. They work. They have families. They bathe and eat and run and jump and read and talk to others.

They don't sit at their PC refreshing 5Dimes waiting for a gargantuan line to move down a little bit from -500 to -400 (and it NEVER hit -400 at my book anyway).

Get a life. Live. Love. Do something with yourself other than staying beneath me.

For some good beer money. That's all I'm doing, and I refuse to pay to watch this so I'm not going to even watch it. Not sure why Scal turned this into a race/political thing, but good luck anyways everybody!!!

It would be funny if it weren't so pathetic.

Your "joke" and it's a hapless attempt at that centers around the biggest handle on a boxing match ever.

And you compare this to individual Punjabi Prison Matches, Hot Dog Over Under Props, CFB lines three MONTHS out from gametime.

Good lord. Call Rosie O'Donnell. She'll help you actually squeeze a smirk out of someone.
