How do you know when a Democrat is in trouble ?

You know that a Democrat is in trouble when the only card they have to play is the race card...

Today, Bill Clinton suggested that the slogan “Make America Great Again” is racist as it really means that Trump wants to elevate white people, currently feeling put upon, at the expense of minorities.

During a fundraiser in New York City Friday evening,Hillary Clinton described half of the Americans supporting Donald Trump as a “basket of deplorables” made up of “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic” people.

Hillary Clinton has to be  the worst candidate in memory....you know she has a few screws loose ...One of the primary rules of public speaking is to know your audience and  Hillary failed,,her audience can’t comprehend such big words.

Without a doubt this is Hillary Clintons 47 % moment...and you know what ?

     I don’t like Hillary Clinton’s “TONE”!

    Good reporting Slim...

What the patriotic Trump people need to do to combat the lies and sleaze of the demRATS and their media surrogates is to get a huge boycott going.

We get together and say to the media WE ARE TIRED OF ALL THE LIES and bull reporting.

THEREFORE...we will not buy any more products advertised on the guilty stations that hide the truth and are in the tank for Hitlery and the socialists and communists.

We would need volunteers to monitor all the advertisements on the offending shows and notify said advertisers that they will suffer sales if they continue to support dishonest lying news shows...

I know...radical idea....The demRATS however did this a few years ago against Rush Limbaugh and it seemed to work for them then.

The hard working taxpaying citizens deserve better than what we are getting.....STOP WATCHING THE LIARS ON TV, and, DO NOT BUY WHAT THEIR ADVERTISERS ARE SELLING.

Funny,  Hillary doesn't look like she is trouble at all.

And by the tone of this thread,  if anything it looks like trump is in trouble.

I think the make America great idea is a good one.

I think the make America great again speaks to a regression and that the answer for the future is to head backwards.  So while I may not see it as being completely racist, the tone of that statement has some possible connotations that we should move backwards in things like racial issues along with others.

But mind you trump is just speak to the choir of his emotional fanbase. Whether it is pushing a conspiracy of a biased media as an excuse or fanning the flames with a focus on immigration, trump knows how to play to his supporters.

Trump's statement defending his supporters from Hillary's leftest attacks..

"Isn't it disgraceful that Hillary Clinton makes the worst mistake of the political season and instead of owning up to this grotesque attack on American voters, she tries to turn it around with a pathetic rehash of the words and insults used in her failing campaign?

For the first time in a long while, her true feelings came out, showing bigotry and hatred for millions of Americans. How can she be President of our country when she has such contempt and disdain for so many great Americans?

Hillary Clinton should be ashamed of herself, and this proves beyond a doubt that she is unfit and incapable to serve as President of the United States. I will be President for all of the people, and together we will Make America Great Again." - Donald J. Trump

Trump

Trump say a lot of funny things.  The levels of willingness in the believability in the audience is even funnier. Not sure how many Americans feel attacked by Hilary.  This is a common problem
With trump that as a privileged person born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he seems to be disconnected and out of touch with the average American and speak to the desperate and emotional.

What appears to be consistent in his response is the "white flag star strategy" where he says nothing about why is he better.  If he js against  bigotry, than what is his concrete positions and policies that shows he is against it?  Trump Fails to articulate this because he is putting all his eggs in one basket with the smear campaign knowing that he has nothing positive to showcase.  If he did, he would simply say specifically what he wiill to in policies and positions to address the issues and problems of bigotry that he is trying to pin on Hillary.

Logically if he had any solutions for bigotry that made sense he would display it but since he does not he is relegated to waving the white flag

Jimmy sorry if you missed this.  I wanted to see your answers to the questions I am asking about your own statements.

I don't want to accuse you of being a trump/trump supporter and being all angry and negative and offering no concrete answers
or solutions to the issues.   Wanted to be fair and give you chance to understand where you are coming from.

I look forward to your response.

Wow, calm down.  I haven't seen a meltdown like this since sportsfan lost his marbles when Hillary was not charged and he knew trump was a loser in 2016 or when relax_dude went insane wishing death upon Hillary like a madman.

Honesty I think you make some valid points.  If you see yourself as an idiot posting idiotic things then that is all you.

As you correctly pointed out, I simply comment and ask questions of everyone engaging people in civil dialog that is what I'm accomplishing.  And I will not censor myself because you demand that explaining yourself or even having a civil dialog is somehow forbidden like you are the PC police.

I'm here for entertainment. I have discussions wih others for fun, that is my agenda. I am having fun and trying to engage you in a civil dialog, but it looks like you are all upset and not having fun.  Perhaps you need to ease up and take your emotions out of it and just have an intelligent disucssion.  Maybe you won't get all crazy and have a meltdown like this.

Can you tell me what it is that you are trying to accomplish if you admit that what you post is idiotic and drivel?  Why would you post all this emotional ranting if it is just idiotic and drivel?

I think where you are wrong is how you compare what I post and what do as being the same as you.  We are very different in how we thinking and formulate thoughts and perspectives. Not just what we think but how we think. Unlike you am I open changing my views and openness through intelligent discussion.  I do not come with blindly accepted talking points and prescribed rhetoric,  I instead often want to understand better what people's perspectives are and why.  And often times good points that people make get integrated in to my perspective.  I do this both in this forum and in real life.

I know this maybe very foreign and hard for you to understand as how we think and how we post are so completely different, but perhaps you could take a step in the right direction and consider that a way of thinking and formulating ideas exists outside of how you seem to come up with your thoughts and opinions.

If you do not want to engage in a civil discussion I think it is you that should desist posting here.  You acknowledge your posts are idiotic and drivel, so what is your purpose?  To bait and provoke others?  To play games and antics and destract from the civil discussion?  I mean you try to show insight that you know what you are doing, so it's not like you don't know

Getting back to Hillary's statement...her comment is worse than Romney's about the 47%  he didn't call anyone names .. Romney's 47% statement is claim by many to be the reason he lost the election.

Hillary needs to be asked.. if ,she were president, what will she do about all the deplorable's ?

She would probably reply ...I would round them up on day one..,march them to the Death Trains and send them to the camps......

While Hilary's comments were not smart from a political / presenditial perspective...

She is partially correct. I say partially because I think that it is closer than 85% rather than her claim of 50% of trump supporters that are unworthy of a vote. Scary individuals.

No I do not get paid.  This purely entertainment and I am having s good time.  Not sure why you apple cart is all upset once the civil dialog starts and you might have to clarify or explain yourself.

Let's try this again shall we, rather than having another meltdown, just answer the questions. Not sure why you spend so much energy dodging very simple questions about your own statements when you could simply answer he questions.

What are the non-biased new sources and specific people that you get your non-biased news from?  Can you name them?

You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the ‘basket of deplorables.’ Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name it. And unfortunately, there are people like that, and he has lifted them up.”
      Hillary Clinton

Trump has denigrated all kind of people. In addition to Mexican immigrants, his targets have included women, Muslims, a Vietnam POW named Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), the disabled, a federal judge of Mexican heritage and a Gold Star family. At NBC’s commander in chief forum last week, he inexplicably beat up on the generals advising the president.

    Deplorable - adjective
    deserving strong condemnation.

According to House Speaker Paul Ryan (R -Wisconsin).

Trump’s attacks on U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel amounted to “the textbook example of a racist comment.”

About time Hillary Clinton went after Trump's constituency.

YOU already know the internet websites that most INTELLIGENT, INFORMED persons use for their news...SO why ask me?

Your "god" Hitlery has specifically named them in one of her latest speeches and vows to shut them down if she gets elected.

SOCIALISM OR COMMUNISM on the rise if she somehow can win.....Can you believe the outrage that would occur if Trump said he would shut down the New York Times if he wins...

SHE says she will trample the first amendment if elected...IS ANYONE PAYING ATTENTION?

SOCIALISM OR COMMUNISM on the rise if she somehow can win.....Can you believe the outrage that would occur if Trump said he would shut down the New York Times if he wins...

SHE says she will trample the first amendment if elected...IS ANYONE PAYING ATTENTION?

But I bet you won't find one quote from HRC about shutting down the media.

    WHATEVER you say!!

I just know for a truthful fact that leftists are far more dangerous than conservatives.

History proves that fact over and over.... Tell me, how many people have been imprisoned and killed by communism over the last few hundred years...AND, why then has the cpusa........ ..communist party usa formally endorsed hitlerty for their choice of president rather than Trump?

Trump wants a free press....He does not want a dishonest press...You will not be able to make up lying stories out of thin air and distort the truth without consequences...MAKES SENSE TO ME.

trump is losing to hillary the white college degree voter by more than 8 pts.

"In over a half-century, no Democratic presidential candidate has carried white voters with a college degree," said Michelle Diggles, a senior political analyst with the center-left think tank Third Way, who described the split between the white working class and whites with a college degree as "the most underreported story of this year."

GOP nominee Donald Trump is hoping that white working-class voters can fuel his own victory. But his climb becomes doubly harder as he is far behind Clinton in the demographic bloc that is usually reliably Republican.

In the last presidential election, Barack Obama lost the college-educated white voters by 14 points. But now Clinton is winning this same group by about 8.7 points, according to an average of the most recent NBC/Wall Street Journal, CNN/ORC and ABC/Washington Post polls."

over 65% of people making $100,000/yr or more will vote while only 57% of people making less than 40,000 will vote.

do the math. trump is in trouble. even the white vote is changing to hillary.

I really believe that November is going to be a big surprise to the Democratic party that forced this corrupt/unhealthy/dishonest woman on its membership. I just don't believe there's any excitement about electing her. I believe the excitement, and obvious support is anti-establishment. Trump is anti-establishment. At least the Republican membership is trying to end the good ol' boy connections that have rotted out our government that is actually supposed to be by the people and for the people. Today, it's anything but. Ask Mr. & Mrs. Foundation what it takes to get something done. It takes a check, then we'll talk.

She's a corrupt/lying retread and apparently in failing health. If she wins, the U.S.A. will never ever have a chance to recover from the "transformation" of the most unqualified POTUS in history. She doesn't have the capacity to handle "classified" material and white college educated people will support her? Some education they received huh? If she wins then the liberal college brainwashing will be complete, actually the education system period is a liberal indoctrination. Have fun trying to find a job to all the "college educated" support as well as a country with no borders...

But I bet you won't find one quote from HRC about shutting down the media.

DJ, the article from New York magazine is laughable. There are so many real issues with Trump, that I'm not sure what would compel you to use this article in an attempt to discredit the guy.

Regarding the article on  'libel laws', I happen to agree with what Trump wants. Everyone in the media would attack Trumps stance on this simply because he wants to take away their ability to write "purposely negative and false articles"

Here is Trumps comment ... "One of the things I'm going to do if I win... I'm going to open up our libel laws so when they write purposely negative and horrible and false articles, we can sue them and win lots of money"

It is irrelevant if the slanderous piece of bulls!t is aimed at Trump, HRC, Obama, or Djbrow, it should not be allowed, or tolerated.

In that same article, they have this quote from the New Yorker's John Cassidy: "Trump takes attacks on media to new level -- says as president he'll try to gut the First Amendment."

I googled "Trump will gut the first amendment", and 100's of thousands of articles popped up. On the first page, every single article on this topic claimed that Trump "wants to gut the first amendment"
As to my knowledge Trump never said that.
