The Reds were 57-0 when leading after eight innings, the only NL team left with a perfect mark. Manager Dusty Baker decided to try to protect a 2-0 lead by having Cordero (2-6) pitch for the fifth day in a row.

You also have to look at what players may come up for free agency etc...they will be looking to put up #'s through the end of the season. Plus, some teams like to be spoilers to those fighting for a wildcard spot.

Something to ponder about!  When a TOTAL line (or odds) shifts from a [fav under to a fav over] or [fav over to a fav under] bet the fav!  Call it sharp/wise guy action or your online book giving you a clue?  A good time to see this is about 30 minutes before game time....at least in my book.

It happened with Philly, CHC, BOS and Clev...only loss was SF.

I was going to thank you for making me $100 on the yankees play and not costing me $140 on the rockies play, as I was going to lay on the Rockies.

So THANKS for saving me $140 and too bad about the yankees. I feel sick right now.

He was off tonight I guess, he threw the same cutter to sweeny in the previous at bat. I would have walked Ichiro, but I am not a manger and I have the advantage of Hindesight. I did however think that before Ichiro hit.

You can't really hate on Rivera though, its only his 2nd blown save of the year. Unfort. I had to be betting on them. :(
