Yes usc did lose to stanford as 41 point favs and that is also pathetic. But you don't hear people talking about what an amazing team usc was last year. But they did destroy illinois in the bowl game. Ohio st made the nc game because they didn't play anybody and ohio st fans use that as proof they are good but it actually was embarassing to get their ass beat by lsu much like they did vs uf. The big ten is the biggest joke of a conference. If the big ten played the sec in a big ten sec football challenge the sec would go 11 and 0 vs the big ten. Cf course big ten might fluke a win or two but it would be an upset.
heels are going to be real tough this year. They have 5 or 6 games that could go either way it looks like. They have a very tough schedule.
West va has a nasty nasty offense. They scored 40 points a game last year and they got most back. Is noel devine suspended or something? he is an incredible back. The x factor is the coach which until you see them play you can't predict. They have tricky non conference games but all winnable. They get all of the tough big east games at home. I see them as the favorite to win big east with cincy and usf as big time teams also.

Heisman if i had to pick would have to go with teebow again. herbstreit says teebow has better players around him so his numbers will go down. If anything if he runs for less tds he will throw for a lot more yds and tds. He going to be the qb for an offense putting up 45 a game so automatically at top of list. Somebody is going to have to go undeafeated and dominate and uf would have to lose a couple of games to catch him. So many great qbs this year. Harvin, moreno, crabtree, wells, best non qbs. It a great year in cfb. Osu usc uf okla uga the best top 5 preseason teams as a group i have ever seen.

just watch and see? I live here in so cal, been to practices (a guy i work with is sanchez's stepdad)
anyways, you say speed kills? that D is just that good? against who? this is a new season, where besides maulaga and cushing, i really don't think they are that proven solid yet.
take 'em if you want to. I'm not sold enought to be laying 4.5-5.5 points. I'll take that value with osu, thanks
one last thing, how do you say a team's D is "JUST THAT GOOD", yet not have a explanation??

usc is obviously filthy loaded as always. They have the best defense. If they get by beanie wells in week 3 they should run the table. I don't see anyone in the pac 10 beating them this year.
JB i see you say malaluga and cushing only solid players. SC is just that good because their dt is going to be a top 10 draft pick next year and nobody even knows who the guy is. Did you happen to watch that guy play when you were scouting all of their practices and talking to sanchezs step dad?
Somebody asked me about the wac. The wac may be the worst conference in the country. Boise and Fresno only 2 teams I would even consider making a play on. I really like fresno st this year.
West virginia definately wins at home vs auburn. I am not as excited about auburn this year as much as everybody else seems to be.

sanchez is good to go ready to play no problems.
Common sense would tell me hawaii will get there late night thursday or early morning friday. I don't know. I do know it is easier for a team to travel east then west.
Longshore according a post from a cal fan he will have some talented new talent to get the ball to. I think cal will be down this year on o because they are extremely young on that side of the ball.
