JB I am a USC fan...I just dont think that Ohio St will be in the ship this year...They do have a great team but I just dont see them beating USC at the Coliseum let alone they are in a tougher conference...I just believe that it will be USC in the ship...Its too early to make any assumption I just think that USC has the most athletic team on both sides of the field...They dont have just one RB not even two like Clemson they have 3 that could confuse and own any team they play any day...

I also hate UCLA basketball dont really have a bball team usually stay local in that field like Nova or St Joes...Just a USC football fan always have been...Its just a sport and I feel that you root for whatever team u like nothing wrong with that...If USC didnt have a team this year that I didnt think could go to the ship I would admit it...I think they are the real deal this year...It very well could be Ohio St who knows I just think its USC no matter what...Everyone has there own opinion...Best of luck to everyones team its gonna be a fun year...

Troy i am obviously not underrating osu's recruiting class as I said on paper they are as talented as anybody. Osu is sick loaded with talent and experience. USC is too. People talk about Osu's D being the best but in two NC games which is basically the only two good teams they played in two years they gave up almost 40 a game. I will take california talent over midwest talent everyday. most importantly its in coliseum.
Florida state has 3 games missing like 11 starters to begin season. They will lose to wf without them so they looking at 2 and 1 to start. They are decent. They should be better on d than last year which was their worst defensive year. Of course their offense makes it impossible on defense. FSU has 8 home games i think. I think they will maybe win 8 games.Nothing special about the noles.

The reason I said anything about your name or where you are from was in one of your post you talked about being a homer, which that term would lead me to believe you are from here.
I do find it funny though that you have become a USC fan about 7 years now, right about the time they started their dominance.
Anyways, biased aside, I cannot see how you think they are just going to wallop OSU. You say they are much more athletic, but you have to have some experience as well. New O-lineman, new QB, who is hurt, and should he play, had a real shitty game in his biggest start against oregon last year(granted it was at oregon), I don't know, I see way too much value so far getting points with OSU, especially 5 to 5.5.

One of the main reasons this is my strongest pick is as I point out in my post above the Super Teaser rule provides for the house to win on tie point spread situations. That being said a 1/2 pt margin in no way lends itself to a tie situation.
Now on to the capping of this game.
Rivarly game. Always take a strong look at taking the dog in big rivalry games.
- Under is 18-8-2 in NCST last 28 games on grass
- SOCAR are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 vs. ACC
- SC State are 4 and 0 against SOCAR
The under trend helps lend to the large point spread provided by the teaser.
Gamecocks being 3-7 ATS vs. ACC in last ten self explanatory as well at the last point.
What has me a little concerned is that since I have taken the early line NC State has been hit with a rash of injuries. Four starters look to be out but still feeling confident that a rivalry game can stay within 25 points.

thank you for the explanation herd. I don't mess with teasers. I prefer parlays because i have a problem and it gets me excited to have a chance more money more quickly. I also look at trends very cautiously. Some trends are extremely important and some are extremely unimportant. For example ncstate being 4 and 0 vs south carolina. I don't know when those four games were played but if one of them was played in say 1990 then could someone please tell me how the fuck a game in 1990 is going to affect a game in 2008? Also i am sure their are countless trends that point to south carolina being a good pick so how do you decide then. The nc state under 18-8 on grass is a interesting trend. sc being 3 and 7 ats vs acc. That is only 2 games from being .500 and without seeing who and when those 10 games were played it is useless. For example ncstate is one of the worst teams in the acc this year so to compare how sc fared against clemson who is a top acc and how they are going to do against a shit team is not important. More importantly like you said nc state has injuries although i believe eugene is their best rb anyway so baker won't be a big loss.
