Chase Holbrook won't be first round pick I don't believe. He will throw for maybe 35 tds. He could throw for more but anybody should play well in the system. Mumme will throw it on first and goal at the one to get his stats. Williams is very productive. I don't see anything too excting for nmsu this year. They play the no defense defense. Their ol is mediocre and they lose their best rb.
Smu has a horrible team. They gave up 40 pts a game and their d is not going to be much better in fact they return not many tacklers. They play in a terrible conference and have what would be considered a weak schedule for anybody not as bad as smu.
june jones would have to pull a miracle to go over .500 and I think the lose the first game at Rice.

I just wrote a whole page and it got erased. darn it. This will be shortened sorry.
Penn St has one of best D's in country. They have great offensive and defensive lines. The qb is gone which is a good thing. They lose they star rb. They have good rbs waiting. I see penn st cruising to 9 wins automatically. with games at wisc and at ohio st as the only two games they won't be favored in. They are a top 10 team.
michigan is extremely talented as always. They lose their entire offense but they have best offensive coach moving in and talented players. The defense is nasty good. They have a tough schedule as the big ten is better than recent past.. I see them going about 8 and 4ish. I can't wait to watch the freshmen rb.
Michigan st has a pretty good coach. They are middle of road in terms of returning experience and starters. Ringer is a beat and qb serivicable. They shoud be happy if they go 7 and 5 regular seaon.

I looked at florida georgia matchup again. UF has 7 sophmores and zero seniors starting on dfense. They one of the top 5 youngest in country and they have lost 4 safeties b4 1st game!
more on gt. Yes nesbitt great fit for johnson. They have great defensive line. They are good rbs but have nobody like their stud rb last year. Thomas is good but no an all american.

Underrated team alert

MGM - underrated team Miss St may be, but they are still too inconsistent for following closely IMO.. Watch for their in-state neighbor to really surprise this year. SEC West is in for some real value this year because of the changes. Will create confusion for the so-called crystal ball types and the lines will reflect that. Ole Miss has REAL talent at key positions (includingJUCO transfer E Davis, former Auburn commit and a impact player). They may lose every game because of depth, but will have an impressive ATS record.
Les Miles is due - based on the big wheel odds. 5 4th down attempts and conversions against Florida, going for the TD against AU instead of the FG to win. These things are not repeated succesfully. LSU may be favored too heavily. The big question in my mind is will AU cover when they are in conference favorites? Historically, never. With the new spread....who knows, but worth watching.
