lot of perceived "mismatches" tonight BUT, as we have seen recently, some of these "Darrell Royal Cockroach" teams have been "falling into and spoiling" the fav plays. he's a few for consideration
@ Hurricanes +135 vs Rangers. Rags got a nasty suprise (and cost about ALL of Covers money) in Florida. Canes won last two breaking a long losing streak. Canes upset probably NOT going to happen BUT the OVER 5 1/2 +125 does look tempting. Canes can score BUT can't keep it out their own net.
@ Panthers +140 vs Maple Leafs. Leafs look total flat last night @ Tampa. Cat's just had one of their few bright spots beating the Rags their last. they are "a different breed of Cat" @ Sunrise. also a Leafs loss and Isl's win get Toronto away from either Montreal or Boston 1st round. I think THIS one could MAKE.
@ Devils +105 vs Penguins. WHAT my Pennies have to PLAY for? locked into #1 seed in East and, with Bhawks win last night, can't catch them for President's SO Danny Bylsma probably more worried about a potential injury to top player going into playoffs. +105 NOT enough +$$$ for me to fool with this one
Lightning +190 @ Bruins. THIS could be interesting. the freeking Bugs FINALLY found their scoring last night vs Toronto, can St Louis, Stamkos & Company do it again in Boston? B's haven't been that great lately winning 1 of last 6 and that was vs the Cats. I will chance this one.
Predators +180 @ Red Wings. as they say in New York, "FERGETABOUTIT"!!! of ALL the dogs tonight, this is the LEAST likely to WIN.
Flames +180 @ Blues. "The Calgary Cockroach" continues on their "fall into a spoil" tour in St Louis after beating contenders Minnesota, Anaheim and Detroit. Blues REALLY want that 5th spot and have to play LA or would they prefer Vancouver? I will chance this one.
Bluejackets +105 @ Stars. both teams fighting for playoff lives. WHO the HELL knows? leaning Columbus only because the have been the "Honey Badger BJ's" going 9-3 since March 29th. WIN tonight, still have outside chance. LOST, they are probaly done BUT, like the Devils game, +105 is thin money.
Ducks +135 @ Canucks. two teams locked into their playoff positions and not much to play for tonight. Hiller vs Luongo in goal. Gabby going with a "second tier" lineup tonight according to Ducks scribe Eric Stephens. don't think either coach wants to risk injury to a top player.
