How much money did Sports Books pay the Washington Capitals to Lose On Purpose to the Anaheim Ducks. NHL is Trash and Games are clearly being fixed. Look at previous Stanley Cup winners such as Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars, Tampa Bay Lightning, Carolina Hurricanes, Anaheim Ducks, and LA Kings all were given Stanley Cups so the league could make more money. Why is there 3 hockey teams in California? What a garbage sport almost as bad as the NBA Entertainment League.

You making a bet on a team in a poor situation and losing doesn't mean the sports books are colluding, lol. Ducks have played well with the kid in net last two games and since the coaching change (I know Miller played). Caps haven't played well since 2018. They've only won 8 of 22 games since the calendar flipped and despite the big win over San Jose, its a game that seems to be the anomaly for them at the moment...plus you have to factor in a huge let down after that big road win.

Why 3 teams in Cali? Same reason we have 3 in NY. Big enough state to do so and gigantic market for them.

When you said Stanley cup champs would be in blue I agreed.

Bet TB and Wpg futures last summer

Now, looking at hedging with StL and Tor before trade deadline

    Bet blue teams Jonah .

Bettors are trash when they don't their homework, instead of just wagering on big faves, yet another post from someone playing with scared money that claims fix when hey lost.

But by all means post your picks, because we need a fade machine in here again.  Also where the teams are, you really have no clue about the economics of sports.

Because why in the hell does the NFL have 4 teams in California ? Why does the NBA have 4 teams in California ?  Why do they have 2 teams in the same city ?

Why is there 3 hockey teams in California? What a garbage sport almost as bad as the NBA Entertainment League.

    Jonah,

You need to stop crying and do more research ..or stop wagering.

Not commenting on this thread in general but in response only to your statement. Nothing could be further from the truth. With the parity in sports it is extremely easy for referees to tilt the balance to whichever team they choose should that be something that is happening. Very, very easy for referees or umpires to fix a game for any league should that be desired.
Well this is true usualy refs are on home teams side.

Refs are paid by the leagues in which leagues have certain interests to gain profit and increase audience/fans investment.

Is there a committee for referee fairness and oversight in any sports? No, because its not really sports, its entertainment. All the players, coaches, owners, etc know it. In the end everyone wins whether on the best or worst team.

With gambling coming into sports, US legal that is.  The Refs are going to be under a major microscope now. It will be quite difficult but not impossible to get a corrupt one.  Once the books look at an influx of action on a  the league will be notified and will be made public.

Because that is the  weakest link....the lowest paid employees of the league
