It'll be interesting to see who the Oilers start in nets for this all important game five.
What series are you watching??? Nothing interesting about it…. Skinner’s done. Only time he’ll see the ice is when he’s celebrating the Stanley Cup with the boys (if they allow him to)

Always a smart ficking comment...
Obviously the same series you're watching....
Btw, Skinner is projected to start according to Left Wing Lock; hence the reason for my post.

These two goaltenders appear to be on the same skill level, but it's really not close. Skinner is in a different class than Pickard. Gretzky's brother scouted Skinner in the AHL...and the Oilers signed him because according to him, Skinner was the most skilled player he saw in the entire league. The top guy in the entire league according to Gretzky and that is serious praise coming from a guy who knows hockey. Pickard is a journeyman and although he is solid, the record there is deceptive. Teams that adjust quickly (Paul Maurice teams definitely adjust quickly) figure him out and beat him. Pickard wins against teams that run a lot of hockey "plays", which is not the way Florida plays (re: their forecheck). Watching hockey on TV is different than scouting a skater or a goalie's tendencies and knowing which goalie is easier for a skater to beat. Pickard much easier to beat! He is a lot more predictable in net. Finally the Oilers have the Cats figured out. They would be foolish to start their second string goaltender just because their fucking team couldn't get it together until the second period of Game 4. If Knoblauch is smart then he'll start Stuart Skinner tonight. And I believe he will.

@WhipHand
I disagree. Pickard is 7-0 in the playoffs and saved 22 out of 23 shots in game 4 where oilers were clearly being outplayed. If it wasn't for Pickard oilers wouldn't even have got past the kings in the first round. Skinner lost the net for a while then came back to life when Pickard got hurt and was back to his old self. Now it seems like he lost the net again. Hes falling all over the place and gets rattled easily. Their coach is a fool if he throws Skinner back out there tonight. If Pickard is off and gives up a few early throw Skinner back out there, but Pickard has earned this start.

Everywhere I looked said Pickard . I guess you just wanted to talk about it lol . To maybe convince your Florida pick . Even the books have pickard in goal. And if you watched last game why in the world would they start sinner . It’s like you’re hoping for a sinner start or something. To not know who’s in net by their play means you definitely weren’t watching the whole series.

Yeah, I agree. It's got to be Pickard tonight and onward, until he falters.
