The National Hockey League cannot catch a break. How they’d love to have a long-suffering Canadian franchise with a religiously-devoted fan base hoist the Cup, but instead the league’s premier asskickers play somewhere in South Florida with a fan base that thinks that, you know, it’s kinda cool to have a hockey team. You know, as long as they’re good.

Marner should just leave the ice immediately when the game ends. He’s not coming back and fans will boo him every time he touches the puck as an opposing player.
