yeah, company closed US location in 2019, I was 50, had 29.5 years there, haven't worked since, FK em, learned that companys don't give a fk about people, just $, but I get it. Life is good, getting old sucks. Having to do shiiity things is easier when I think about not having to go to work ever again. No wake up time, no anything time, no rules, pretty much all my family is dead so I don't have to do family gathering overkill at the holidays and birthdays, wife still has family, still have to make an appearance with them so I stuff the card with cash and hope there's booze there and get it over with. I'd rather move to Vegas and really live it up, but being married has its strings attached, maybe I'll talk her into it someday as we were married in Vegas. She doesn't gamble, which is perfect imo, she can stay home by the pool.
