    Just some of my thoughts...

Don't talk sh*t about Goodell, even worse put it in writing, if you want to keep your job. Dictator Goodell will not tolerate any negative slander lol.

Can Geno Smith keep the Seahawks afloat? Not too sure...what do you think?

The Bengals need to find a new FG kicker ASAP.

Big props to the Texans coaches for outcoaching the Patriots coaching staff. However, the Texans couldn't overcome themselves in special teams.

The Lions may be 0-5 but are tough outs. May be a really solid team ATS this year. Dan Campbell is an excellent motivator that got them playing hard every week.

The #1 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft goes to the....New York Giants! Giants and Jaguars going be fighting for the #1 pick. Not sure how the Giants overcome these injuries. Not seeing a win anytime soon in their future unless Toney produces a monster game.

The Browns have a really difficult time putting games away even with one of the best rushing attacks. The defensive PI call at the end of the game was one of the worst I have ever seen. This team could easily be 5-0.

The Bills showed to everyone that they are the #1 team in the league right now (IMO). Cardinals fans may disagree.

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens just find ways to win games. All that matters.

Right now, my current top 5 is: Bills, Cardinals, Cowboys, Chargers & Packers.

Arguments definitely can be made for the Ravens, Browns, Bucs & Rams for the #5 spot.

Question: If you became owner of a new NFL expansion team and could select (1) new young QB to lead your franchise, who would you pick from below?

Jalen Hurts, Joe Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa, Trevor Lawrence, Mac Jones, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance or Justin Fields

Curious to know who people would select. My pick would be Mac though wouldn't be mad with Burrow either. Did not include Justin Herbert as a choice because that would've been the easy answer. The accuracy and poise from Mac is really desirable.

Will be posting my early LEANS for the week hopefully tomorrow. Let me know if you see any solid plays!

    Net: 28-12 (+20.35 Units)

dont trust geno smith at all

colts looked really good and then gave it all away, wentz played well

chiefs D is still a mess

raiders are gonna be a mess, unless this somehow motivates them

bears must be playing some good D, havent seen their games but they are all lower scoring

    will jax play for meyer?

can the steelers rebound a bit after the rough start?

darnold starting to look like his old jets self

jets/giants/jags/falcons/texans the 5 bottom feeders right now, shout out to bears/dolphins they could be in here if one team turns it around

we are into the first bye week of the season!

Id also take mac, or if he was gone trevor, burrow 3rd

Hurts stats are better than his actual play has been

I agree, the giants are toast. With all their skill guys on offense hurt, I don’t see them even trying.

As for the qb, I’d have to go with Trey way as my guy. That kid is tough as heck. Excellent athlete and A+ arm talent. Not sure for his mental capacity just yet, but he conducts himself really well. Burrows would be my second.

Pains me to say it because I rooted for him in college, but Tua is last on that list. I’ll be surprised if Miami keeps him for another year. Fins sold out for the “Tank for Tua” crap and that is not working. They got him new o line, great receivers/tight ends and pass catching backs. He just doesn’t do anything special and he takes too long with the ball. People might not like this, but I hope they get Deshaun so that they can compete. There’s just too much talent on that team to look this bad.

Burrow and Lawrence easily have the highest potential from that group as of right now. Burrow narrowly edges out Lawrence for me though

Cleveland defense is strange but seeing Tyrod light them up doesnt inspire confidence.

I worry about Burrow's injuries.  Mac seems the best of that group with Trevor close behind but Hurts has some potential and has avoided injury so far as much as he runs.

The Giants will heal and they get Philly and Washington a few times which will help.  Jax is in big trouble and they will quit on Urban soon.  Their defense is very very bad

    @dubz4dummyz

    Def agree with your comments.

Wentz is getting healthier and playing better.

Who knows about the Jags and Raiders now with their issues.

Love your take about Hurts. His stats have been better than his actual play.

    @mugz

Solid takes. Yes, the Giants are toast!

Trey has all the tools to succeed in the league. Let's see if he can turn the corner now and adjust after several more starts.

Agree with most of your comments on Tua. I don't believe the Dolphins need to move on from him yet, but we are surely heading there. Tua needs to learn to stay composed under pressure and stop throwing jump balls when pressured.

Can't go wrong with either choice but yeah Burrow has the edge for me too. Burrow is a gamer and as tough as they come.

Totally agree with you. The Jaguars are a loss or two away from quitting on Urban.

Mac Jones!!! I am very high on him as well.

    Bengals

    2019: 2-14. Pre-burrow era

    2020: 4-11

    2021: 3-2

personal opinion joe burrow makes the bengals better , while the patriots make Mac Jones better.

My bad Pineapple, I didn’t mean anything by that Tua rant. I really liked that kid in college, but if the fins can get Watson? Bruh you better believe I think that is the right decision. A move like that could easily see Miami making a run.

My bad??? Was not opposed to your comments at all. Love hearing other people's point of views.

Def agree with you that if the Dolphins can land Watson without giving up too much, they should pull the trigger.

Seahawks in BIG trouble. Russell Wilson is the best deodorant in the league. He masks an abysmal O line. Keeps a bad D in every game. Keeps a below average Pete Carroll and company employed. Carroll is the leagues oldest cheerleader. Wilson gets this team to 10 wins every year despite a 6 win all around situation.

I have been impressed with the job that Culley and Campbell has done with 2 teams that are bereft of talent. They both have their teams playing hard. Unfortunately, neither team has the horses to finish games. Its a minor miracle that Detroit only gave up 19 points to Baltimore AND Minny. Just for laughs take a look at the names on that defensive roster.

Giants are a mess. Seemingly ALL their playmakers are hurt. O line has struggled. Gettleman gives Golladay a boatload of money. Takes ANOTHER WR in the 1st round. Doubling down on WRs when you cant keep your QB upright? How do you determine what you have in Danny Jones with this O line? You cant. You do what another perennial bottom feeder did. The Jets moved on from Darnold because they wanted a QB on a rookie deal. They did not want to make the mistake of paying Darnold. Giants going to reset the QB position also. Each franchise setting themselves back 5-8 years IF they get the next QB right. BIG IF.

Buffalo Bills are scary good. They can really get after the QB. The only thing that gives me pause is the RB position.

The Ravens D is bad. Really bad. They have no running game. Jackson is a magician. He IS the offense. Too many issues to overcome IMO. They have been EXTREMELY lucky. That has a way of evening itself out over the couse of a season.
