Why is the total so low?

Honest question.  I think both teams should score.  What am I missing?  42.5 is super low considering the numbers put up yesterday.

Broncos elite D + Mahomes back from injury + KC missing two starting o-linemen including LT / Rookie starting in his place + Kenneth Walker expected to be heavily involved and KC transitioning into more run-first gameplan.
