Week 5

AMD, I saw you added Dallas -6 to your card when you didn't have them on your card a few days ago. Would you mind giving me insight as to why?

I've liked Dallas all week but the line jumped before a I had a chance to review the matchup. I don't like taking games when I've missed out on the window of opportunity regarding catching the best line especially when the line has moved 2.5-3 points. But, this matchup heavily favors the Cowboys so I'm going to take a chance with the shittty line of -6. I was looking at Atlanta for a few days but I don't have strong enough reasoning to back Atlanta's defense. Arizona is still a strong possibility but if I don't like a team enough to take them by Thursday or Friday, I'm better off just leaving the game alone. And, I don't feel comfortable with the Zona line sitting at 7.5. I'd like Zona better if the line was driven down to 7 by a sharpie.

Im glad you're laying off atlanta amd. Im trying not to get caught up in the giant resurgent hype, as i still don't think they're a great team by any stretch, but what they do have is a  very good, young , athletic defensive line, and atlanta is now down 4 offensive linemen. I think ryan is in for a rough day against this giant d line, and unless eli inexplicably turns the ball over against this horrible atlanta defense it's really hard for me to fathom how they can lose this game. Then again it is the nfl so you never know, but it seems to be a nightmare matchup for atlanta. 

Only one quarterback they've played has struggled to move the ball vs. the saints, that was matt cassell. Trust me i know tampa is a bad football team, but who are the saints right now? They seem to be completely lost on defense, and their offense only clicked once this year vs. imo the worst defense in the nfl, atlantas. 

Yeah, I agree buddy. It's one thing to have a poor defense but to have a poor defense AND a bad offensive line? Atlanta might dig down deep for a cover today but it's still not an intelligent play. I'm stubborn sometimes and I was looking for ANY reason to make a play against the Giants tomorrow and Matt Ryan isn't a good enough reason. Gl

No sweat, man...it's not you. It's been a thing over the years which is why I've posted units in college football, hockey and baseball. I'll just stick to talking football and everything should be good. Have a great Sunday.

This game is so ugly, I tried to find an edge but these two teams have plenty of weaknesses and it's just a matter of which team capitalizes to their strength most efficiently. I'm laying off but if I played this game, it would be the total, over. Gl buddy
