I've never had an online betting account and don't need one since I live in Vegas, so I don't know what the rest of you have available out there... but I'd like to share a few words on the concept of the Reverse Teaser:
Simply put, a Reverse Teaser Card inflates the spreads so that the favorites either have to win big or the dogs have to cover big or win by a few, depending on the lines.
On average, the line is inflated about 7.5 points in either direction. Obviously it's difficult to pick 3 winners (minimum parlay in Vegas) but the payout is incredible.
For example, at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino a 3-Leg Reverse Teaser paid out 25-1 odds... that was until they did away with them 3 weeks ago... precisely a week after the Week 7 massacre when when all the faves won big. Now the only place you can find them is the Hard Rock and the Palms.
I'm by no means suggesting that Reverse Teasers are great bets to make. I am, however, suggesting that once in a great while an opportunity presents itself where you might take a good shot or six.
Consider a couple possibilities for this week:
Indy -7.5 Ari -15.5 SD -10.5 NE -17.5 Wash +6.5 Ten -2.5
In Vegas, Reverse Teasers don't include U/O totals but they do include the NCAA FB games on the same card as well. I would have hit last week had South Cackalacka been able to squeeze out another 3 points vs. Florida.
Don't know about you guys, but I am for sure taking a few shots down the field this week, and I welcome all questions, comments, concerns, and advice on Reverse Teasers... and some WINNERS!!!

yeah I've seen these kind of bets referred to as pleasers and have been interested in them but my book don't offer them. As far as your picks for reverse teasers/pleasers I like Indy, Ari and SD the most by far

Interesting.... week 7 my plays were NE over TB, IND over rams and the jets bouncing back..... wish I was in vegas for that( I was actually in Versailles, Conneticut, Pats Territory and the middle of nowhere...)
Im from toronto, but I'm actually headin to Palms in two weekends to see a kiss show saturday with the pops... N enjoy the personal TV's in the sportsbook there the next morning!!!!
reverse teasers really sound like they can add some excitement to an NFL sunday.
About your plays, I really like NE 17.5, SD -10.5 and myself, i'd throw in PITT -17.5 (their WR bowe is gone for drug use, amongst other problems with the team) and kc coming off a division win and pitt coming off a division loss is a formula for... well you know!BOL
Ari the road warriors will show up, unlike them saints

FYI: The RT Cards don't come out until Thursday.. my lines were simply estimates. I will post the actual lines to this thread when I get them. Thanks for the feedback fellas.
PBK: I'll get some cards for that week and when you're in town we can make a play if ya like. Always good to put heads together on a parlay.

I went back and looked at the database. On average, teams cover the line -7.5 points 22.85% of the time. That makes the odds of 3 teams covering Line-7.5= 0.2285*0.2285*0.2285
The odds are 1.2%
That means the odds you need to be offered to make it a fair bet are 84-1.
I'm not accounting for what happens if you win two and push one...the refund or smaller prize will improve the odds a little bit, probably to something like 80-1.
This looks to me like an extreme suckers bet.
