Impressive write up, but I'm all over the skins in this spot. I just don't agree with your logic, that an extra drive in overtime for a team and traveling on a short week is as devastating as you think. There's no drastic time change, Or drastically long flight from washington to Minnesota. I agree the energy will be with minnesota behind the crowd during a primetime night game, but here;s the x factor for me.. for how long?? Crowds and players are human, and when the locker room is divided on poor coaching decisions, and you fall down early... It's not as easy to get back up and play when you are 1-7 and have zero motivation to make the playoffs. Washington is coming in and you can make the case that they are the team with playoff aspirations in a weak NFC East, and that goaline stand may have been a season saver v.s San Diego... momentum aside, nobody can deny that the redskins have a distinct advantage in that they can win whether they are ahead and want to bleed to clock and run the ball on a weak defense with Alfred Morris, or they can come from behind and have RG3 connect on some big throws to Garcon, reed, hankerson... Everyone knows if the vikings build a solid lead they're just fine with AP running the ball, but what happens if you fall behind and defenses won't need to respect the run on every play? what happens when the limited Ponder who tries to run if his first read is covered has to deal with blitz packages while he's trying to disect the redskins defense in the shotgun? He is a very athletic QB who benefits off the play action alone, he's not precise, accurate or surgical in the pocket.

Worst Viking team in years... only win came against a terrible Steelers team. Don't overthink this, Skins are healthy, Vikes are banged up and I see RG3 and the Skins starting to roll over the last half of the season.
So agree with you. I don'tthink too much on that 1-12 ATS spread with the winner coming off a OT win.
I look at the Vikes have no TE now. Their DB backfield is depleted.
Skins can run the ball too. Sorry Skins in this one

I love your stats but I see you did not watch the skins game last week. They were one terrible fumble call by the replay booth with 7 minutes left in the game from turning this into a 13-17 point game. Also they shut down payton manning for almost 3 quarters. There are not many teams in the NFL that can do that. Kyle also got pass happy in his offense once Denver caught up 21-21 and it turned into a nightmare. Look for Griffin to run a lot more tonight. He likes to run in primetime games. I am not saying take the skins but we just need to straighten this out a little.

Nice call - redskins defense was atrocious as you correctly predicted. vikings d-line dominated in the second half to shut down skins offense and that was key as well
