Drake didn't beat anyone. He got lucky Stroud played worse than him and he got to play vs Stidham and a 2nd H blizzard.....

Mayfield was playing at MVP level in Seattle. Rams always score at Seahawks. Other than that, Seahawks defense kept the rest at low score.

Patriots defense only started getting better lately, however Patriots offense is in the opposite direction.

Side note: Seahawks faced 2 division opponents in playoff but both at home.

Seahawks defense was number 1 overall in defensive efficiency with Houston just behind them.  Denver barely made the top 10.  Overrated defensively.  

Seattle's defensive efficiency number is top 10 historically.  Patriots best defenses they have faced this year were definitely Houston and Denver here in the last two weeks....we all saw how weather played into the results of those games.  Will be interesting to see this matchup now without any weather effects 

Seattle's defense is best on 3rd downs, and in the redzone. Critical areas to be good at in football. 

They run mostly zone. Low blitz rate. They don't adjust to their opponents, they do "them", and they do it well.

It'll be crucial for McDaniels to formulate a good gameplan. He's capable, he has more experience than any OC in the league, and by a mile. Unless you consider Andy Reid.

If the Seahawks front 4 dominates, it'll be hard for the Patriots to perform well.

I think it'll be a great game.  Unlike a lot of people who are insinuating that it's a crappy matchup.

If the Pats rush defense shut down Walker and Gonzales lock down JSM.  Darnold face a blitzing defense and can bring pressure with the front 4 without blitzing. Seahawks backers going have a long day.

This will be the best defense Sam Darnold will face.

Sam Darnold not great vs blitzing defense, just ask the Minnesota Vickings.

Patriots can still bring pressure with just the front 4.

Its like everyone knows Pats are gonna lose but to find something to talk about for 2 weeks they pretend they have a chance. 

This is true. He also got to compete against a quarterback who was being undermined by Chargers offensive coordinator Greg Roman's terrible playcalling (terrible playcalling that got him fired two days later).

Darnold has played “lights out” thus far in the post season. Maye has been average. Do you see Darnold progressing even further? Or do you imagine Maye, playing in a temperate environment, with championship coaching in McDaniels and Vrabel, stepping it up and upping his playoff performances?
