I was going to say nobody could throw in that slop but noticed Brees threw for 309, vs. the 108 for Mr. Wilson.

Oh, gosh, we don't want to call him a "game manager" do we?

The only stat that matters for a QB is wins.  Seahawks defense and special teams are playing great.  Lynch is getting yards.  Wilson played in very tough conditions last week where Brees had 20 yards at half.

He is not going to throw for 300.  He is looking at 14/20 for 200 yards on a good day.

Those numbers are deceiving.. Brees was held to what, 40 yards at half-time? It was 16-0 after 3 quarters of play. He got all those yards in basically garbage time including a touchdown with 30 seconds left. Kaepernick is no Brees, a 13 year veteran who throws over 4000 a game! The secondary basically locked down Brees for 3 quarters what are they going to do to Kaepernick?

Brees made 43 attempts to Wilson's 18. Wilson didn't need to throw much, as the game was well in hand, they ran almost all of the 3rd quarter.

If Harvin plays, then Wilson will look a lot better than he has, recently

"Russell is the smarter QB on the field on Sunday. No doubt in my mind."

No one questions that............most are just wondering why his #'s fell off so much near the end of the season.

Seeing Kapernik attempt some of the passes he did in the last game leaves me confident he will get baited into some picks this Sunday.

Niners are 13-2 in last 15.  Only losses were by 3 on the road in NO and by 1 at home against Carolina.  They have covered +3.5 for 15 straight weeks.  Doesn't guarantee anything, but that is a pretty crazy stat that I'm guessing no other NFL team can claim.

Just sayin  How many dogfights on the road can one team take .the last 2 games were physically  2 of the hardest 9ers have played .They had to play there best and hardest to win both games .Seatlle stops gore ,contains KAP.

Seattle is  rested,  healthy . Used last weeks game as the tune up for the game they new they would be in a month ago .They will be more intense will be the most physical team SF has played ,and is home ,where Arizona woke them up from being complacent ,Best thing that could happen to the Hawks was losing that game . They  will be with NE in the Super bowl

No less likely than for two underdog's to advance?

Keep all these stats trying to sway ppl on why SF can win coming. 72% on SF spread, but the line isn't moving. My book is showing the 3.5 is close to slipping to a flat 3, but it hates me and just won't go ahead and fall.

Wilson and Carroll are playing possum IMO. They did not show much the latter part of the year because they could win without taking any chances.

Tattoo man does not impress...I see the year coming to an end for SF.

Then I am sure you were impressed by Farve's on-field IQ because he often forced his throws, even into double-coverage.

Yeah I am sure they were playing possum when the Cards came in and beat them on the road.

Seattle was a whisker away from switching places with SF at the end of the season, what you are saying makes no sense...

Wilson has been awful since niners beat hit up a few weeks ago. Just watching him...fucc the stats.. He does NOTHING within the scope of the designed play. Its never 1-2-3 ball out good pass. Its alway off target or he scrambles around til somebody becomes completely wide open. Wilson looks terrible lately
