I agree HUTCH. His QB rating was 115-118 for the first 12 games. Not counting Sat. his last 4 games  were in the low to mid 70's. Definetly regressing but still winning. Go figure.

Hutch I'd be more concerned about Kaepernick, he's been absolutely atrocious in his previous two starts at Century Link. Next Sunday is a defying moment of his young career. He must handle the 12th man and avoid the turnovers which the Seahawks have feast off of.

Yes, Wilson is not playing as good as before but he's still better than Kap imo. He reads defense better, less erratic and most importantly, he has less of chance to lose a game for his team by mistakes.

With a defense and home crowd that they have Wilson doesnt need to be a play maker or even a good QB.  He just has to be a game manager, which he can do.

Aw horse garbage……Wilson'd performance has definitely suffered in the latter part of the season. Playing almost like he's fallen in love with someone or something new. Seattle's gonna have to score against 49er's or they'll advance no farther. I like the dog right now.

He may on Sunday and I am of the mindset he will shine if called upon.

He is the better QB on the field come Sunday and I would not wager against him. Those who think they have some angle are not seeing Seattle for what they are and Wilson for what he truly is: a game changing QB who can make plays and rarely offers up miscues.

Live here in WIS. watched him play quite a few games at our UNIVERSITY. Alhough not home grown he was a refreshing face to the run of the mill QB'S we were used to. Just stating his rating have regressed the latter part of the year. Not sure why other than he did'nt need to be that guy. I have no doubt he will perform at a high level when needed.

Sounds he could have help the team by making a play or two at SF and against Arizona and apparently he did not.

4 TD's and 3 INT's in his last 4 (which included AZ and SF).

Not saying he's terrible, but to say he always makes a play when he has to and doesn't make any mistakes just isn't telling the whole story.

Which QB in history always makes all the plays and doesn't make any mistakes? So that goes without saying. We can always find a stretch that someone wasn't not playing well and that goes for Kap, too. I could argue the team carried him in Kap's last game, particularly in the 1H.

Bottom line: Wilson is better QB for now and that's not to say Kap couldn't perform better in this upcoming game. I sure hope he will because I want Niners to win.

New Orlenas offense far superior to the 9ers offense.  Seattle Defense gets it done.

To me what matters most for SF as I said during last game is who Kap goes to as his main receiver. If he goes with Boldin then the chances solid..Boldin makes the catches and opens up the rest of the offense.

Yesterday he was forcing it to Crabtree and the offense was stagnant..once he focused on Boldin the confidence came back and the offense started to click.

If I were Seattle I would double Boldin and force Kap to go somewhere else..if they can eliminate the best receiver then SF will struggle...as they did yesterday.

That's probably a good strategy for most teams but if there is one team that doesn't necessarily have to do that, it's the Hawks. That's why I think the Hawks' secondary matchs up very well with Niners' weapons.

I'm digging the road warriors. I don't know the stats but isn't it highly unlikely both 1 seeds advance?
