Number one I would never break their confidence by divulging anything they’ve relayed to me on some message board. 

However, they don’t deny that the refs manipulate and alter outcomes via questionable calls. These are multiple former players that played for multiple different teams.

Anything controlled by man can be manipulated. I don’t know why this topic seems to trigger people on this board.

I don’t care either way, but the way some people lose their mind whenever it’s mentioned is extremely odd.

 Classic scenario of right side wrong result. The Bears are still an absolute joke of a football team and Detroit could easily win that game by 10+ 55-60% of the time. Just didn’t happen today. Bears got all the help they needed from the officials, a few lucky breaks, and the Lions just stopped playing football in the second half. 

This is the aggravation of the entire season for me. It’s hard to stomach when you know you’ve done the work to figure out the better side to be on, and then a combination of ridiculous things that must happen for you to lose all happen. You could tell midway through the third quarter that the lions were losing momentum (or perhaps getting cocky and lacking in effort) and that the refs were going to start helping the bears stay in it. Very frustrated myself this season.

Because people do not like to be told they have been fooled. Its easier to believe a lie than to admit you were stupid. THis goes for not just sports betting but to many aspects in life where the hive mind dwells.

 It has always been interesting to me as well. There are lots of people who believe that NFL games are fixed. For me personally, I don’t have enough evidence to support that and I also think it’s a lot harder than people think it would be. That being said I could care less what other people think. It has no effect on me if you think a football game is fixed. 

There are people on this forum who are most likely miserable souls who just cannot handle the fact that people believe something that they don’t. The minute it’s mentioned they pop into a thread to say something. It’s like they have an addiction to trashing other people’s opinions. I couldn’t imagine if you told one of these people that you believe in God. They’d probably jump down your throat telling you you’re an idiot because you can’t prove it. There are some really sad people on covers that obviously don’t get laid. Ever.

 Why would I ever put people I’m friends with on blast for telling me something I already know? 

Last year I literally gave a play by play in the college basketball forum on FAU and Temple shaving points. Fast forward to now and Hysier Miller is under federal investigation. 

It’s always the same muppets on this board that get offended if anyone dare tells them their fairytale isn’t real.

Nobody here is saying that. The NFL is completely different than it was even just 15 years ago. It’s not a coincidence that the most unbelievable calls in NFL history have been happening in the era of mainstream gambling. Where virtually everyone has access to a casino from anywhere aka their cell phone.

 The part about no accountability for the officials is what should draw a lot of suspicion. You now have, regularly, an nfl rules analyst commentating on the game. Without a doubt in every one of these scenarios there’s atleast one time in the game where they identify a horrible mistake by the officials. The very next week the same officials are refereeing another game. No matter how awful the call was and no matter how many times it’s happened. I like to bring up the cowboys/lions game from last season. I will never get over that until the day I die. We all literally watched the officials make the wrong team win the game. And nobody got fired. Nobody got fined. Nothing happened. The same guys are officiating games today. Brad Allen will officiate the rams/saints game this week.

I shouldn’t even have to bring this up but for any doubters, all you have to do is look at the 2018 playoff game between the Rams and the Saints. It doesn’t get any more obvious than that.

when the NFL and sports books are in bed together and we see the calls game in game out that are BLATANTLY wrong and obviously have huge effect on totals and spreads hitting or not its not even a ??????????anymore & NFL could care less lol

You are a fucking idiot.  Anyone that says "1000%" is automatically a moron.  There is no reason to say that.  It does not emphasize your point, it just makes you stupid.

 The game last night was a perfect example of this. Matt LaFleur flips out on the refs for the most egregious non call PI on Christian Watson…the refs throw a 5 yard delay of game penalty at LaFleur for complaining about something he was 100% correct about.

Thank you bro! I expressed pretty much the same points here last Sunday after slogging between two dismal games. Instead
of expansion, the NFL should use some of its capital on fixing what's wrong with the game. I'd start with the officiating. Some of those officials seem to think people tune in to watch them throw flags. I think we're finally on the verge of change once the ratings start dipping, that'll get their attention
