Probably the closest I've come to quitting NFL

Interesting game. Good ol nfl 

The NFL is worse than WWE. Completely fixed to get whoever they want to win. The flags  will make sure of that. Speechless how stupid it is and it’s popular. Awful sport 

Sometimes the smart play is 1st half. Not a fan of double-digit spreads. 

Lions did plenty wrong 1st half they didn't convert in the red zone kicking all those FGs having a lineman try to do I have no idea what

A lot people are complaining about the NFL yet..................... We are still watching or BETTING on this GREAT game of football lol

That fumble the lions had in the 1st half was not anything close to doing nothing wrong in the 1st half.  But Bears should of atleast got the game tying field goal to go to overtime 

All you have to do is look at the live odds to get an idea of how they want you to bite

I'd say all lions drives were +120 of being a touchdown 

All bears drives were -150 of being a punt

Therefore the score should have ended with the  lions covering even if the bears ended up with 20 somehow 

The NFL is getting worse year by year but the stupidity of players and coaches in every friken game takes the cake. These players and coaches have been around the game their WHOLE lives and yet you see some of the dumbest mistakes that can't be explained. I will continue to watch and bet because it is entertaining but the stupidity of these professionals is unbearable

 This muppet works for the NFL in some capacity. I’ve never seen someone so obsessed with any post on this board that criticizes the NFL.

The NFL is entertainment. I have friends that played in the league and while they won’t come out and say it, it’s understood that things are shady in the NFL.

 It’s crazy. The guy has his antenna up on any thread that might imply that the NFL is shady.

The issue is the millennials. They all use analytics as opposed to common sense. Lombardi, Madden, Landry, Walsh, Ried and Tomlin. These are the men I would want coaching and making decisions including clock management. There are not 5 Head coaches in the NFL that know what is going on. They all hope the other coaches they have employed can make the right call for them to get a good presser after the game. This is not the NFL I grew up watching.

I guess the question becomes... Does the perceived drop in quality make it easier or harder to predict results. 

I think the knee-jerk reaction is to say it makes it more random and therefore harder, but I'm willing to stick this out and see if I can pick out some predictors that make it easier. 

It's definitely an interesting time to be a NFL better.
