3* BROWNS +5' over 49ers - Browns DC Jim Schwartz has been the 49ers' kryptonite. In three games against his defenses San Francisco has averaged 15.7 points and 290 yards a game, and 4.6 yards per play. The weather is gonna be crappy, and Brock Purdy has a 49.1 QB rating in rain or snow. Monday night he threw three interceptions in a 20-9 win over Carolina, and now they're on a short week and early start time. Cleveland's defense will be the best unit on the field in this one. Led by All world DE Myles Garrett the Browns are allowing just 273 yards a game with 42 QB sacks. The Browns are 4-0 ATS at home this season, and if QB Shedeur Sanders plays clean in his second start I wouldn't be shocked if the Browns win outright!
3* JETS +3 over Falcons - This is the second straight road game for Atlanta, off a 24-10 win at New Orleans. Tyrod Taylor brings more to the Jets' passing game than Justin Fields, and on defense the Flyboys have allowed just 2.7 yards per rush in their last two games. They'll need to carry that over in this game with Bijan Robinson coming to town. New York is 4-1 ATS in their last five games as a dog, and after a strong game by Falcons QB Kirk Cousins last week, I'm betting he can't do it two weeks in a row, especially with WR Drake London out with an injury. The Jets win outright in a sloppy weather game.
