Thanks for your thoughtfulness and openness. I’m a girl dad of a 7 year old and try and cherish every moment. This wagering will always be here, long after the kids are gone. My life balance definitely swings the direction of my daughter in this season. Got tons of years coming I’ll miss these times and can wager my sadness away.

That's the problem I have with my son. He's 16 and he loves his video games. I sneak up on him and jump in front of the screen all the time. He's not watching porn. He's not in no chat rooms. He just likes playing innocent and playful games. But I remember when I was a kid I used to build models, ride my bike in the neighborhood all day with my friends or sit and watch television. But he wants nothing to do with none of that except these video games hours on end.
And when I try to limit his time on The computer. His response is why Dad my homework is all done. I don't want to watch TV. I just want to play some games online.
His grades are good. He's a good kid. He listens but the internet is such a bad place to constantly be on and I do worry and don't know how to get him em off of that damn computer + something of interest that will do so.
Any constructive and sound advice would be appreciated.
On the other hand, I have a 21 year-old who's got a scholarship a degree and is a journeyman on EVs at a major Cadillac automobile dealership finishing up college next year. He will be done with college and a master's next year and also shuffles a girlfriend and puts in a forty plus hour week in 4 days so he can have a Friday, Saturday and Sunday off so he can spend time with his girlfriend and take care of his online animatronic business that he has as well.
My oldest always had his shit together but my youngest right now is not on the same page as his older brother was when he was sixteen
