Who am I to question you? suprised you just didnt take the +3 on the packers thats all. My only plays of the day are balt+10 and the under on both games. BOL with your bets tho
You or anyone in that regard have a full right to question me and pass a constructive criticism when its due. I have no problems explaining my stand here. I will secure that bet either way with SF+4 parlayed with other teasers or ML who ever can parlay or teasers (in bet365 you can but some of you with local bookies must tell me what are you limited to if). GL. More posts will come before the kick off of that game in regard to that game

disagree about those "soft" packers....I'll take a mentally tough and out for blood qb named Aaron Rodgers, all day long...
I am curious about that 1st quarter bet for the broncos though...what made you pick that Mavin, instead of say, the 3rd quarter where its only a 1/2 point...???...I only ask because if they get a field goal, you only get a push on top of it...
we have basically around the same picks....except I have denver for the whole game...
and packers ML.....
also have new england + denver with 6 point parlay as well....packers not in that one though....
The one thing I keep thinking about though with the 49ers, is that monday night game against the Patriots and how impressive they played in that game....but when it comes to playoffs in the last ten years....there is a huge percentage that says the better qb usually comes out ahead.....

Weighing in here just to confirm that this(and it's NBA sister) is indeed one of the greatest threads in history of the INTERNET. Fair play to you Mavin. It's all too easy to be cynical but I for one acknowledge the perspective you're handicapping musings have to offer. I might not always agree but I am always appreciative of the considered opinions of any fellow genuine punters(ie the betting type of punter not the kicking type, posting from Ireland here)
Fwiw, my plays tonight are Baltimore -9.5
Green Bay ML
Best of luck everyobody

SportsMavin, i think Denver will win...Just don't think they'll cover. Are you not concerned at all with Peyton's record of 0-4 in playoffs in temp under 40 degrees?

In games like this it always comes down to the better QB and no doubt Rodgers is a better QB. He has better options for passing as well as WR's he has are top notch in NFL. SF is way one dimensional for this level of a playoff game and also with a young QB who will be forced to carry the ball as well since GB has been working all week on bringing the pressure on the pocket. Gore is a factor - no doubt but what he can do in 10 plays Rodgers and his WR's can do in two

Although I normally agree with your logic, I find it odd that you mention that SF is a one dimensional. They have a far superior offense and running game than GB. GB has a better passing offense, as you pointed out, but their defense and running game are horrendous. GB is the one-dimensional team.

because they're soft...i'll come back once gore tears their box defense a new one and you go down with 80% of public. very disappointing pick from a capper of your ability. books are begging for money on the pack.

Mavin, i hope you just had a terrible day, and just didn't set all your followers up for the slaughter...I hope THEY did't get to you and buy you out..
