Houston -2 @ KC????????????

The line has moved 6 points from the KC -4 look ahead line of December 10th. Seems certain then that Mahomes will miss at least one game? Chiefs are scheduled to play in Pittsburgh on Christmas day (Wednesday). 

If Pittsburgh were to lose to the Ravens on Saturday, they could still win the AFC North by beating the Chiefs and Bengals. Steelers hold the tiebreaker because of a common opponents' edge, they would both wind up with 11-6 records. 

The number on the Steelers' game moved from Ravens -4.5 to -6.5 and now back down to -6. One of these days, Lamar is going to be able to put a smack down on the Steelers and their winning scheme against him.

TJ Watt is suffering from a rolled up low ankle sprain and the status of wr Pickens is still out and now new injuries to starting corner Jackson and DL Ogunjobi, S Deshon Elliott...the injuries are mounting up. In games that Watt doesn't start for the Steelers, they are 1-10. 

Does anyone have any update on the condition of Mahomes' high ankle sprain or how it might impact this game?

 From what I understand x-rays came out negative which is good but I'm sure very sore for which only Patrick himself knows of course how long to fully heal and how he'll feel in such a sensitive area come game day.

KC, Wentz or Mahomes. This is a perfect spot for Wentz to come in and win the game. I’ve already grabbed these value and look forward to more IF Mahomes ends up declared as out. 

This offense already sucks with Mahomes, it certainly ain’t going to get better with jag ass Wentz.  

KC has an extremely quick turnaround after Saturday, they play next Wednesday on Christmas Day.  My guess is he and others will take a mini bye this week and they’ll gear up for Christmas.  CJ Stroud has been a massive jag this year though so the defense could easily win them the game.  He loves taking 12+ yard sacks.  

Mahomes according to that betting line is sitting. No way if Mahomes starts would the Texans be favorites @ KC. 

From what I am reading, Pittsburgh is going to empty their gun in Baltimore and play semi-injured players. I think it is a mistake. A Pittsburgh win this week wins the AFC North title but too many key players on defense are banged up. Get the feeling that wr Pickens will play. 

If the Steelers lose in Baltimore, they can still win their division with wins @ home versus the Chiefs and Bengals. The extra rest of all of their injured players would be the wiser move IMO, that Baltimore D is playing much better these days since they added Dean Pees as an advisor.

The Steelers could be facing a bees' nest this time in Baltimore. Yes, they have had great success in the last 4 years there but this week is this week. I sense that the Ravens will be more than ready to beat a vulnerable Steeler squad. Watt's lower ankle sprain won't heal that quickly, he isn't superman.

The Texans at KC looks like an under to me.

With Mahomes out, the troops will rally on defense, not that they need to but they will. The Texans o line is terrible. 

Andy Reid can only devise a clock churning grind it out type gameplan on offense I would think. Especially with Wentz. Even with Mahomes they haven't lit up the scoreboard all year.

I read that last week vs the Browns, it was their largest margin win of they year. 14 points, and this team is somehow 13-1?!

I see a low score, where field goals may decide the game.

What motivation do the Texans really have here. Sure, beating the 2 time Super Bowl champs at Arrowhead, but they have the division locked up and really can't move much higher in the conference standings. Chiefs don't want to lose here because it takes away their room for error against the Steelers. If they lose 2, Buffalo can swipe first in the AFC and a first round bye. With Mahomes hobbling, they will want to make sure of the bye.

Well, Mahomes was a full participant in Tuesdays practice.

You make some excellent points there especially about the motivational level of the Texans to perform since they won the division. 

Chiefs are back to -2.5 -125, we all knew Mahomes was playing

Your overs and unders angles seem always right, how do you do that? Yeah, the line has flipped back to favor KC which probably means he will give it a go.
