I thought the same thing when reading Don’s post about Darnold. He has lost me money in the past with some of his boneheaded plays but this year seems different. Who would have thought that Sam Darnold would be quarterbacking his team in the superbowl! Then as I thought about it he has more experience than Maye. Besides when I saw the opening line I was a little surprised but I am trusting the oddsmakers this time around. an_popcorn

Thank you again DJ and your right, Seahawks are expected to control the game because they are stronger team overall and currently in superior form compared to a Patriots offense that has struggled this postseason. The game to be a slow, conservative clock-grind dominated by elite defenses, particularly as Seattle’s pass rush exploits a struggling Patriots offensive line and Drake Maye’s inexperience. While Maye is expected to have low passing yardage due to a shoulder injury and a run-heavy scheme, Sam Darnold is projected to play as a high-volume gunslinger, leaning on receivers like JSN to move the ball
