Does Vegas just want 50/50 money on each side?

Or do they take sides?

For example, 500K public money is on so called Bears pk over Denver. Let's say a well known sharp comes in and bets 150K on Denver pk. Will Vegas move the line to the Bears to try to get equal money, or could they side with the Sharp and move the line towards Denver, such as Denver -2?

IMO vegas is looking for a 50/50 if they could have that on every bet on the board  no matter what sport they would be like a kid in a candy store but that is just my opinion

Every game/situation is different.  There is no set rule.  They simply make money.  

Ideally yes but realistically no. Bet $10 on every dog you will finish the season up now times that number by 10 million and call your self Vegas.

Actually, yes that is exactly what they want... If even $ is on both sides, they win 10% juice on the loss. The reason the lines move the way they do is because Vegas is trying to get even $ on each side or total... The juice is guaranteed $.
