I think it was a culmination of what has happened in the past 5 years. Harbaugh's teams were known to blown leads here and there, but since 2021 I believe it's 17 blown leads now after leading by 7+ pts in the 4th quarter majority of them double digit leads. That's just way too many in that span. Not acceptable for a team this talented. This was definitely like a Dan Reeves and John Fox moment, good coaches that just couldn't get it done when it mattered
