CAPTAINS DIVISIONAL TOP PLAYS FOR SATURDAY AND SUNDAY IN THE NFL

3-1 last week with my Top Plays......26-8 run with my Top Plays this season

GAME#1.....I am going with 10* DENVER-9.5 over Baltimore(TOP PLAY) I think Baltimore spent its emotions last week for Ray Lewis with the win over INDY. I dont trust flacco in this situation, and turnovers will be a key reason why the Ravens don't win or cover this game.

GAME#2...I am going with 20* SAN FRANSISCO ML-140 over Green Bay.(TOP PLAY)....The packers dont match up well against the 49ers here, first of they need a running game which they don't have, so that means you will see a lot of blitzing by the 49ers to put lots of pressure on Rodgers. With the extra week the 49ers are healthy on defense which will be a different beast from last weeks defense of the Vikings.

SUNDAYS GAMES

GAME#1.....I like the 20* ATLANTA FALCONS ML -140 over SEATTLE(TOP PLAY). Why so many people are not giving this team any love in this game is crazy. Another team benefited from the extra week off, there healthy, there playing home where they are dominated, and this defense is much better than the redskins. Falcons roll in this one.

GAME #2...I like the 10* HOUSTON TEXANS+10 over NEW ENGLAND(TOP PLAY). Hey I am a pats fan, and I know they destroyed Houston 4 weeks ago, but you can not forget this team was the best in the league for most of the season until injuries caught up with them, especially on defense. Houston getting 10 points, players like Shaub, Foster, and Johnson on offense, the defense is healthy, this is the one underdog that I can see winning outright, pats are horrible in the playoffs covering games. This is probably going to be a field goal to a 7 point win for New England, but wouldn't be surprised to see Houston win outright. Take Houston and the points.

These are dangerous write-ups with a lot of half or non-truths I respectfully submit. I know you are free to write what you feel and you can tell me to take a flying hike and I'll respect that but this thread reeks of shallow or inaccurate info and for a newbie who hasn't followed you and sees that stellar record you are sporting combined with these lofty multi-star ratings-well, I think you see where I am going with this.

Ex. 49 'ers are NOT suddenly healthy due to one week off and Justin Smith is the integral cog of "D" line. You write what 97 % of the rest write but you dont back it up. Packers took the 2nd H off last week. They have every receiver which they did not have since week # 4 until LW.

I think Cobb,Starks and Grant will do enough damage on the ground and Rodgers will attack from the get-go with his myriad of weapons. Kaepernick has been awesome but throwing on the run on this stage as a rook; I think he'll be rattled.

GB run "D" has been steadily improving.

Re: Atlanta- you meant at home where they have been "dominant" NOT dominated. Falcons roll? You don't mention how bad their run game is right now and do you really think Matty Ice is going to hit his receivers without giving up a few? If Carolina can eff with them twice how do you think this secondary will do for Seattle?

Captain, If you are so incredulous at the lack of love being shown HOTLANTA at home then why in hell would you make it one of your biggest plays at -140 juice on the ML when they are only favoured by -2.5 and -3.0 everywhere but Pinnacle where they have been sitting at -1.0 (and I have a feeling we will see that number switch side by gametime) ? That play alone totally undermines the confidence you claim to project in your write-up.

Re: Houston. Now here you are way off. You are making very general observations that are far from the truth. Go take a good look at HOU. They went 3-5 SU in the last 8 games vs. a .492 SOS and they gave up -101 pts. in those games. The teams they did beat are cupcakes. (JAX and TEN =4 scout team weeks off alone)

They look lost and Schaub can't buy a TD. Their injuries are not brutally deep as you suggest. ( 3 regs on "D) AND  they get destroyed by good passing attacks. They could barely get by Cincy who couldn't even mount any offfense but whom had a solid red zone "D".

HOUSTON AND INDY ARE FRAUDS ( Have a very strong gut feeling you loved Indy and the points last week)

 

I rarely call guys out but your points and the names you drop -all of it is so generic, you couldn't go a little deeper? That's a solid record if legit but I swear it may have come by shooting darts when I see what lack of substance is behind it in your analysis.

In 2010, when GB won it all....they had 1 of the 4 games in which their leading rusher had over 75 yds

Man I been kicking your behind every week boss. Look boss I know my reasoning is not the best when it comes to my picks each week, I have said this before in ny threads, I just write the basics boss, nothing fancy. What matters is that just about each week my picks make money, i have dominated( yay!!! Got it right ) in the NFL with my Top Plays 26-8 run, no fake record there, pure winners boss. I may not have the best write UPS, dam i know i don't, Jfox does and kudos to him, but my winners do my TALKING boss. I'm so confident in my plays each week that i will be dominant again this week. man you are the biggest homer there is in these threads, im glad you came into mine because I guarantee the packers lose this week. You got flattened in green bay and it will be no different in San Francisco, you had no run game for that match up and you will have no answers come Saturday. Cheeseheads are done Saturday.

Captain Pap-In as far  as kicking my behind- I went 45-10-3 at one point between weeks 14-16 and 8-0 more in college (which I did not post) so I highly doubt it. Its in black and white under my completed picks here at covers.

I showed you some class in calling you out but if you want to shoot fictitious garbage, whatever turns you on, but I'm going to call you on that as well.

But I'm learning one thing about you, a lot of your plays are ML and to play faves on the ML is bad enough let alone count them on your record. Nuff said.

With all the hype about a Manning/Brady AFC championship game, I feel both QBs are gonna be at the top of their game wanting to prove themselves. Manning with the whole "sibling rivalry/comeback" thing, and Brady with the "taking the Pats back to the Superbowl/QB record" thing. I know there's alot more factors that will affect the outcome, but IMHO, these are the two biggest ones. Just weighing in. Good luck everyone.
