So the second time these teams met, In Cinci, Balt was -3.5 IN CINCI!!! EVEN THOUGH CINCI HAD BEATEN BALT ALRDY IN BALT!!! (And unlike the SD, DEN rematch scenario, there are no injuries/returning players)

Indi, due to some close wins (It doesn't matter how you win if you win) has the public thinking 'THEY ARE DUE FOR A LOSS' And a hungry Baltimore (Who in all fairness gets rolling usually late in the season) is going to win.

No matter how you put it, the only way I can see the Colt's 'DESERVING' an even line, would be playing @ Pitt, NE, Minn or NO.

I believe the line should have been -3.5 for the colts based on performance.

****HOWEVER**** Like I said, Baltimore always gets rollin' this time of a year, and a weak Colts secondary will help Balt's O put up numbers aswell, (Although vice-versa applies to this statement, not because Balt's secondary sucks, but because Its manning-wayne)

I believe this game is a gamble and could go either way, although the vegas line caters to public perception. I'm going to sit back and watch this controversy unfold, and people kick themselves, when there are much safer bets this week.

    BOL

    NFL Season: 53-43-4

I'm taking my annual NFL road trip this weekend to Baltimore.  Friends and I made the plans earlier this year.  All Giant fans, we never thought the Colts would be undefeated and I didnt think the Ravens would be struggling BUT I couldnt agree with your write more.

I pictured this game to be Colts -6.5, okay maybe hoping, so I could jump on Baltimore and enjoy a good underdog cover this Sunday.  Unfortunatly the Colts -1 has taken me by surprise.

I do think Vegas is praying on a public perception that the Baltimore defense is great when most of us unerstand its not what it once was BUT again, the potential for an impressive game is there.  Sunday is Baltimore's (and Ray Rays) opportunity to prove they can still step it up.  They will come to play.

Also, do not be fooled by Monday Nights game plan and the lack of points against the Browns.  Running up the score was never their goal, they wanted to work on their running game and control the clock, which kinda happend.  And dont over look that they did shut out a professional football team (professional..ehh debatable) but for the sake of arguement a shut out is impressive, especially Monday Night on the road.

The colts will also have to deal with the challangs of playing outdoors under expected inclemate weather (sucks for me too).  All and all, its tough to go undefeated and this could be a trap game.  I would have felt much better at +6.5 but now Ill be forced to lose big or enjoy a very very tough cover.

LOl sorry I had to bro, I get so tired of explaining to people who give me crap about being a Ravens fan "what happened to  your Defense man?" I tell them, this was setup to fail a good 3 or 4 years ago. Ozzie and our D still get praise from the ridiculous invincible Defense from our Superbowl win in 2000. Little do outsiders know this defense has not been anywhere remotely close to that for quite some time now. A lot of that was just covered up with Rex Ryan who quite frankly is a genius like his Dad Buddy at making bad look good, and good look great!

Well Rex is gone now and the Truth hurts like a beeyatch, trust me, I wanted to win that Vikings game so bad, and the Pats and at least one of the Bengals games, but watching this Ravens d as a true fan is as Sad as Mike Tyson get beat up and humbled by the likes of Buster, holyfield and Lennox Lewis. It's just sad! Winning some money will help ease the pain though!

Your statement is basically saying "Vegas knows the Colts will lose".
Is that what you're basically saying. Come on all let's not fall for the "trap"and let's take BAL +1

Your statement is basically saying "Vegas knows the Colts will lose".
Is that what you're basically saying. Come on all let's not fall for the "trap"and let's take BAL +1

    Ratherbgambling.

Are you fucking kidding me? Did you just say Indy is overrated? A 9-0 team overrated? A team that just beat your shitty pats and they're overrated? Get your head checked and don't let your homerness for the cheatriots get to your head.

Buddy, you don't know shit about shit let alone football. Last time I checked you play 4 quarters in the NFL, just because a team is down after 3 quarters don't mean is should be a shock to come back in the 4th and win the game. How in holy hell are he Pats the best team in the NFL? The lucky ass win, which was handed on a silver platter vs the shitty ass Bills? Beating and overrated Atl team at home. Barely squeaking a win out vs the Ravens? Or is it beating Tennessee, Tampa and Miami? Then losing to the best team in the NFL, the Colts. Care to explain?

BAL still covered the spread against CLE

IMO BAL line starts around -4 than the books figure that IND fans will jump all over it so they set it at -1.  Why.  First it increases BAL money that off sets the public side which we know is Manning, and it sets the bar for the IND side.  Cash flow.

At the end of the day Vegas is not crazy, but to think they don't get it wrong from time to time is insane. They are humans just like us folks, if I only have to use one example that should convince you of this game, just think a few weeks back when Vegas had the Ravens going into Cincy as a 3 point favorite, i'm a die hard Ravens fan and I couldn't get to my Sportsbook fast enough to bet BIG on the Bengals to win AND they were giving me points? WOW that was easy money, I bet with my brain and not my heart, I have NEVER missed a Ravens game and I can tell you all reading right now, we will NOT beat the colts and I will be shocked if we lose by less than 10 points, but regardless, we will NOT beat the Colts.

I am just waiting for the line when we go to Green Bay as I fully expect Rodgers to carve up our extremely pathetic Secondary, and hopefully this will convince Ozzie to draft some big physical CB's with speed to get this D back to it's dominant self, a true pass rushing DE wouldn't hurt either.

You fucking tell me to chill and then you say the Ravens will go 6-4 (this is coming from a Ravens homer). Can you read the future? Not to mention your little thread about traps is fucking ridiculous! How do you know which game is a "trap". The lines are there for a reason, the line is correct. Bengals +6.5 last week seemed to be a "trap" and then what happened, outright win.

How wasn't it a trap? Bengals 6-2, and beat Pitt last time out and getting 6.5? This line was similar to the one where Pitt was faboured by 6 vs the Chargers and Vikings and what happened? Just because the Steelers didn't cover, doesn't mean it wasn't a "trap". You're clueless man, the pats exposes huge holes and still lostIf the Colts have hugmoungous holes, what if holy fucking hell do the Ravens and Pats have! Dumbass, why would I be mad, my team is 9-0 and going to be in the playoffs, can't say the same for your team. You tell me to get a girlfriend, yet when something negative is said about the Ravens, you go crazy. You even blew up at a fellow Raven fan who was stating the truth not being a fucking homer like yourself. Get real, fucking loser.

Why am I arguing with an idiot who just joined covers? After the Ravens are handed another loss, you will fade away, just like rest of the new combers who think they're are big smart asses.

I think its pretty easy with the line the way it is (basically a pick) yes Baltimore has a chance to win this game, thats 100% true, but you have to ask yourself, "what do I think the chance is that Indy wins vs Balt wins)

Personally I think the Ravens have a 30% chance to win. So hence why I like the Colts so much, just wanted to say this cause it ain't worth arguing over.  Everyone should admit both teams have a shot to win this game, I happen to think Indy has a better shot hence a good sized play on them, but I'm surprised by the other threads calling it a lock etc..

So hence why I like the Colts so much, just wanted to say this cause it ain't worth arguing over.  Everyone should admit both teams have a shot to win this game, I happen to think Indy has a better shot hence a good sized play on them, but I'm surprised by the other threads calling it a lock etc..

See now this is how a HUMAN BEING discusses and talks sports not like serb89, who gets angry everytime he sees the words mediocre team and colts in the same sentence LOL

You're a fool, I have yet to get an answer about my previous posts. Be realistic here, of course the Ravens have a chance but don't say they will win and that the Colts are shit. That doesn't make sense, a team that just beat the pats and is 9-0 and is shit. As the segment on Sunday morning countdown goes, "C'mon Man!
