Refs suck but Det losing because they made mistakes
Very true. A lot of this is their own fault. The Refs are what making it A bit harder on the cover and giving the Detroit backers something to reach for.

Det does a great job killing their own momentum...Make a couple good plays on offense, one very good pass to Burleson and next play run Bush up the middle...Keep the pressure on them when you have the DBacks running all over the field and make them try and stop what is supposed to be a very good passing attack.
I hate when teams play by the predictable playbook (especially when it isn't working)

Now it doesn't matter but why not? Wouldn't they prefer to be up 2 FG's or a TD with missed xtra point than up 5 and lose on 2 FG's?
That xtra point to make it up 5 is useless at this point in the game where being at 6 isn't a great spot either but better than being at 5
