this may be true... but i think we are underestimating the importance of being without your offensive leader and your defensive leader... and with Pitt, that means a lot more than most teams... Big Ben is who he is because of his leadership... same goes for Troy on defense...
they are missing about 10 points worth of their team in this game... the big spread is completely justified... no way Pitt wins the game... and unless Dixon plays like a seasoned pro, they have very little chance of covering the spread...

I believe this kid (Dixon) will air out alot tonight, something we always want Ben to do but dont always get. I think he wants to prove everyone wrong. Look for him to run with the ball in clutch situations and hopefully we get a win. If not I will settle if Pitt covers!
GL to all with whichever side you pick. I just feel Pitt tonight, Browns were able to contain Balty for a good while last time they played. I see Pitt doing much better here.

The discussion wether Dixon is good or not we cannot address, but we can address this, think to yourself why would you get the World Champions +9 without "only" 2 players................if the oddsmakers thought this kid had any chance to rally the steelers they would give you the ravens -6.5 or 6,yet theyre willing to give you more than a td............hmmm? bol

PITT has Known ALL week that Ben Wasnt goin to Play, So Dont think for a Second that Dixon Hasnt been Practicing All week with the 1st Team.. They Have One of the most Creative O Coord. in the League, and Im Sure We'll see a Form of the Wildcat 2nite!.. and One other thing that People Seem to 4get... THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH PITT's DEFENSE! and Flacco's Numbers Are MISERABLE against them.. I'll Take PITT AllDay.

looks like one guy understands what is going on here...
look how many people are salivating at the chance to get Pitt (+8)... they always talk about how Vegas doesn't give away freebies... all those people who think Pitt (+8) looks juicy don't understand why the line is where it is...
