I think the lack of motion and play action coupled with the high % of shotgun snaps correlates with what I believe is a very predictable and boring Philadelphia offense. It all plays into the offensive struggles they’ve had this year. Philly’s rpo/ play action offense was their bread and butter. Now that Saquon is not having a great season I think it allows defenses to focus on the pass game and Jalen hurts scrambling. And the reality is that Jalen has always struggled getting through the entire progression. He wants to lock on to his first read and throw to him. If it’s not there he’d better have a lot of time to think of something else. This offense needs to find a way to get creative. Their’s way too much talent on that roster to be a averaging 22/23 ppg.

Eagles are a mess. But this is a potential "bounce" spot for them if u like those angles...basically last week was potentially rock bottom...although they completely tanked in 2023 as well...
Starting LG and starting C been playing at 50-60% all season
Saquon been injured since week 2 or 3. Got up super late on a hit and went off and hasn't looked the same since. Think it was his knee....then hurt his quad in week 7 or 8. Just before the bye
AJ has lost half a step and has had a nagging hamstring all year. He has stats last 2 games but over half of them were basically in garbage time so it is misleading
Jalen Carter out. Best defender
Chargers banged up OL might be the difference ...if eagles can get pressure...
Basically did eagles hit rock bottom last week or not. If they did then they should win this game. If not the free fall continues

Yes rumors flying Hurts doesnt want to scramble as much this season...
Eagles offense runs through hurts legs...if he isnt a threat to run he doesnt open up lanes for the RBs by making the D respect the possiblity he keeps the ball...and hes not a pocket QB so the team needs to be run first...he struggles to get through progressions....his scouting report from the draft is accurate to day...he is what he is at this point in his career...a mobile QB who is a decent passer...but if he doesnt want to run/be mobile then the offense doesnt work
Hurts needs to scramble 6-10+ times a game to open up the offense. Teams are teeing off on saquon with 7-8 man fronts and not respecting that hurts may keep the ball
Lack of RPO...and eagles also have some of the worst route trees in the league. Receivers within a few yards of on another on a ton of plays..terrible spacing

Sirianni offense is garbage.. patullo basically just a puppet this season...expect an OC to be hired from outside the organization unless eagles somehow go on a deep playoff run

You are probably right. But I think there is only so much you can do with Hurts when a running game is not working backed up by a great defense.

This was a great thread. Hopefully any of my contributions to it helped make some decisions. At the end, the game truly could have gone either way. It took a game-sealing interception and a Daiyan Henley reminder to Tony Jefferson to kneel down for the outcome to be decided.
Sac, glad the under hit.
Raiders, thanks for starting this thread with your thoughts on it.
I don't recall who brought this up, or if it was even in this thread, but someone mentioned that the last team to make an error (penalty, turnover) would be the team to lose. And that's what happened.
