    1) Clippers are in a class all by themselves. I haven’t seen a team this deep and this loaded with talent since ever. And I’ve been watching the NBA for a long time. In a series with the Lakers, if LBJ and Davis end up being the best two players on the floor, the Clippers have the next 10. Foget about it!

    2) Barring an injury, the Clippers are winning the title. Don’t waste money on Laker futures. Without Avery Bradley, against a healthy Clippers team, they don’t have a shot. Clippers at +275 is a great price.

    3) The Bucks are the class of the East but they won’t beat the Clippers and there is chance they don’t get there because coach Bud is a bit of a choker.

    4) The NBA can’t afford to mess around with these series. Covid is rampant and one positive test can derail the playoffs. I expect quick series in the first few rounds (with maybe one or two exceptions) with the best team taking care of business and advancing. The goal here is to get to the finals without a hitch, not to extend series when there is no money to be made off box office sales.

    5) Upsets in the first round: OKC and possibly Indiana (though I doubt it).

    6) Best series moneyline in the first round: Denver at -200. Utah is a joke.

    7) I think Celtics will beat the Raptors and lose to the Bucks in the East. But if Raptors advance, they have a shot against the Bucks.

I think it’s a close call. Let’s do it. I take Leonard over Kd. I’ll give you Curry over George but George is a much better defense player than Curry. Thompson and Lou Williams are a wash on offense, though Thompson has the better d by far. That leaves us with Green vs Harrell and I’ll give you Green, but not by much. Then you have Iggy and old man Livingston against the rest of the Clippers bench, which is way deeper (IMO). I just think it’s a close call but Clippers are right there with that team and you are getting them for +275. That has to be a steal. peace_5

If Portland locks up the 8th seed, Stu will make $500 1st round series play on Stumptown but not a Western Conference play because, man, them Clippers...

I lost all respect for you when you said Klay and Sweet Lou is a washan_lightening...Curry...and PG13 is not even on the same level.   PG13 has done nothing...Curry is 2 time MVP...3 time NBA champion... Loads of playoff experience and big shots... No comparison whatsoever....KD and Kawhi are a wash....Playoff Draymond Green is a top 20 player...Best passing big man in the game.. Elite Defender.  Then add in Iggy..Elite Defender and alway hits big shots.

    Dubs Bench players..Javale Mcgee..David West...Shaun Livingston...Quinn Cook..Jordan Bell....Nick Young...Patrick Mcaw...Zaza....That 2017-2018 Dubs team was stacked to the 9's...

Clippers have done nothing.  Noone knows what they will look like come playoffs.  You cannot even compare the 2017/2018 Dubs to the Clippers until they win 2 titles.

Stu, as much as I’d like to see an upset I think Portland will have shot it’s wad by the first round. The team will be running on fumes with a banged up CJ. Their momentum, combined with the Lakers hibernating, might get them a couple of wins, but LA will awaken and take the series in 6.

Not trying to pick a fight. Just cause the Clippers have not accomplished anything yet doesn’t mean the potential is not there. The warriors were overachievers who took the NBA by surprise. The Clippers are not sneaking up on anyone, and the competition they face is much tougher than anything the Warriors faced out West when they had their run.

I am basketball fan first and foremost. Once in a blue moon a team will capture my imagination and I’ll root for them. The warriors were that team, until they got KD. I had no rooting interest in them after that until KD went down last year and the old warriors were back. Unfortunately, Thompson’s injury in game 6 spoiled what might have been the greatest Warrior title run win or lose. A game 7 in Toronto would have been epic... Oh well.

Klay was posessed. I try not to be too heartbroken over the trials of millionaire athletes but I was sincerely saddened when Klay went down. Not because of it dashing the Warriors title run, but for Klay himself. My heart is with this team. I'm a real Warriors fan. Not someone whose heart was momentarily captured.

The homegrown Warriors were an anomaly. We will probably never see a team like that again. My heart was broken when they got KD because it cheated not only Klay and Steph from becoming the best versions of themselves, but also us fans who never got see what they could have become without a moping recluse like KD, who stole all the joy associated with the team.  peace_5

Btw, if the league had just suspended Green for game 4 in OKC, like they should have for kicking Adams in the groin in game 3, the Warriors don’t lose Green in game 5 of the finals and the Warriors likely win the series in 5. I knew the Warriors were not going to win game 4 in OKC after what Green did to Adams in game 3. That game was lost before it ever began. The Warriors were going down 3-1 regardless, and the presence of Green for that game 4 was only going to make things worse by firing up the Thunder. Too bad, because that right there changed NBA history.

KD on the warriors is a testament to how great KD is as a baller. He joined a team with a unanimous mvp and proved that he is the best player on the team by winning the finals mvp twice on the highest stage. KD earned his ring in 2017, the supporting cast of KD and Lebron averaged similar points and assist but KD outplayed lebron both offence and defence. And most importantly Kd outplayed lebron in the clutch moments. I know you will say KD had more space to shoot because of klay and Curry, that's not true because KD took the most contested shoot in that series. The first three games I believe came down to the 4th quarter, KD just played better. To sum up my point, GS brought Kd in because of his Iso game not spacing, Lebron should have guarded him but he shied away from the challenge.

KD hadn’t won anything before he joined the Warriors and won’t win anything now that he is gone. When Leonard wins his 3rd title with three different teams you’ll see why KD is not half the player Leonard is. That warriors team was a title contender without KD. Can you say the same about the Raptors and Clippers? I thought not. I rest my case.

Agreed with Clips. And most def agree Kawhi > KD. Sure, he didn’t have a great bubble performance (not many superstars did), but Kawhi is easily the best 2 way player in the league right now, imo.

Two things regarding my Thompson and Williams comparison: 1) As I noted, Thompson is a two way player while Lou is just a scorer, so that obviously makes Thompson the better/more valuable player by far and 2) the reason they are a wash on offense for me is because Lou can create his own shot (that is huge in the NBA) and Thompson is a statue who needs other guys to create for him. Lou Williams has accomplished what he has accomplished in the NBA by playing with a bunch of bums for most of his career and now he is third fiddle on a team with Leonard and George. Although the way he scores or gets his might be different than Klay it has been just as effective and lethal (IMO) with a lot less weapons surrounding him.

You have to either be an actual warrior fan or an actual grade A band wagoner who only supports the biggest favorites and teams that obviously are going to win if you support and root for the KD warriors. He was up 3-1 with Westbrook and OKC. Let that actually sink in not just roll off the head. 3-1 in the WCF. One more game. He could have worked on his game in offseason came back and definitely won the WCF and played for the Ship. Him doing the I can’t beat them join them is the weakest move in all of sports .... HISTORY. Yes he’s an amazing talent but a true spineless bitch and a box. Easy way out McGee. I think any real competitor feels the same. That warriors team although great was a disgrace to competition simply because KDs decision. Snake box loser for life in my eyes. I like his old shoes at least. Congrats to snake for his championships though for all the non competitive losers out there who like the fact he went to GS that aren’t warrior fans. Look in the mirror and you’ll see a bitch

Agree KD took the easy way out..blew that game 6 vs the Warriors taking every shot in the 4th..complete box under pressure.."bought 2 titles"..great, bro, if Larry and Magic played together how many would they win?

But for your Clippers you've got ONE BIG PROBLEM..Rivers, a complete idiot who just lets them come down and shoot 3's way too much..if they remotely move the ball they run to the finals..we'll see..also Toronto can beat anyone..,much better coach than anyone else..

A team this deep and as loaded as the Clippers ever?  Lol what!?!?

Saying Lou Williams is anywhere on Klay Thompson’s level is absolutely hilarious.

Im wondering if you’re just trolling at this point.

The warriors team with KD would wipe the floor with this Clippers squad.

The Heat with Lebron, Wade and Bosh.

    Celtics with Garnett, Pierce, Allen.

    Spurs Duncan, Parker, Kawhi

Thats just off the top of my head, plenty others.

The Warriors team with KD very well could have gone down against Leonard and the Spurs had Zaza not cheap shotted him in game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, which the Spurs were winning easily. Who did the almighty warriors beat those two title years that are worthy of mention. They barely got by the Rockets twice and they beat a dysfunctional cavs team (With cancer Kyrie) in the finals twice. The Garnet Celtics needed two 7 game series Just to get to the ECF (and the East was weak as crap) so I’m  not impressed by them (and I was rooting for that team). The Heat got their butts handed to them by the same Kwai Leonard that is now on the Clippers. He was the best player in that series and won MVP even though LBJ was in his prime. Oh, and that same Heats team also lost to an old, decrepit Mavs team in 6, in another Finals appearance (or disappearance:).This Clipper team, without Leonard and George, almost pushed the mighty Warriors to 7 games last year! Stop reading the names on the back of jerseys and start watching the actual games.peace_5
