Rajon Rondo killed this beautiful under play all by himself by attempting an unsually high number of shots (for him) and hitting half of them (also very unusual). Check this out from the game recap:
It took Rajon Rondo's driving dunk with a minute remaining to break a tie. Boston (18-4) began the night tied with Orlando for the best record in the Eastern Conference. Orlando played at Utah later on Thursday.
Rondo had a season-high 21 points and 11 assists, and Ray Allen had 18 and became the 32nd NBA player to score 20,000 points. Kevin Garnett had 17 points, and Kendrick Perkins added 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Primarily a passer, Rondo changed his game for one night.
"Tonight it was me being aggressive. I still wanted to pass first, but tonight I had to take the shot," Rondo said.
Oh, that's nice. Love your timing, Rajon.

Looking back, that was a good call about the 55-point first quarter (it was 28-27 after one). I just didn't anticipate the second quarter being even worse. No way should that have happened. Damn the lazy Wizards for their 12 second quarter fouls resulting in 15 Boston free throws.

Was a great call as was your second half call. Your analysis was spot on. It's just that forecasting the performance of human beings on a day-to-day basis is a very tough gig, as well you know. But you are quite good at it. Much respect for your abilities.
