This is a weird time of year where home teams start looking to Christmas, especially if they are home for a stretch. Road teams seem to have the advantage next few days as they have a little more focus on basketball than home teams players doing all the home Holiday things. Just something to think about. Trae Young is back and as per usual his team plays worse with him. That being said, he is an assist machine and coming off an injury even w limited minutes I can see him dishing a lot today.

Spurs are in a weird spot, having played all the Cup games, then rebounded to thrash Wiz and now on the last game of this roadie before they go home to host a home and home w OKC. I can imagine their minds and bodies are not fully engaged today in this spot and let go of the rope just enough for the Wiz to score.

Hmm...has there ever been a team that traveled to Denver twice in one week and then played 2nd end of a b2b away? This is a very unusual spot for Hou as they traveled to mile high in an OT loss less than a week ago, then went to New Orleans for an OT game then flew back to mile high in a game Nuggs no showed now travel to finish the b2b at putrid Sac off a low scoring home loss to my Blazers yesterday. That game in Denver yesterday was huge for Rockets now they basically spend from now thru X-Mas in Cali away from family and friends. They just smoked this Kings team by 26 earlier this month, but that was a diff Kings lineup. Hou have Clips then a Lakers X-Mas game on deck. I'm struggling to see where Hou is motivated tonight. I don't think they'll lose but I also don't think they'll play good defense either after that brutal schedule.

This is throwing $100 away but I have to try with this odd scheduling scenario. Hou can lose this game and it isn't devastating, Sac sucks sooo bad and could be down by 20 at half, but if Sac finds their balls and lights the beam then this'll be pretty good. Dead on arrival but I have to.
