coach, i did a little research on this rookie pitcher, maurer for seattle....he got roughed up bad in his debut, his first start.... i dont think hes ready for prime time....yet. the lastros had only won 1 game, their first, and i figured if they were gonna win number 2...tonight would be the night agaisnt this rookie....eric bedard is a veteran who has pitched in seattle...i thought that gave houston a BIG edge....that was how i handicapped it...

golden state, as i type has a 4 game lead over the 9th team in the west....lakers....they are pretty much locked into one of the last 3 seeds.....6, 7, or 8. i dont really ythink they care who they get in the playoffs, san antonio, denver, or okc....i go into this because....i liked minnesota + 7 1/2 full game for those reasons and didnt play it..so depending on 2 H line....i think minnesota may be the play...the full game dogs, by and large have been covering 2nd half tonight..
