Clearly, NLEX is the better team, but I'm putting a unit on the Batang Pier primarily because of a letdown spot. While I'm not comparing me and my boys to a professional team, as a former basketball player, whenever we won via a comeback, players tend to let down their guard and subconsciously acknowledge that they deserve a break. This leads to a more haphazard style of play next game until we get the next wake up call.
This leads to my next point. In foreseeing a sloppier game, the scoring will tend to suffer, and this is where north port comes in. In a game where a loss would virtually eliminate them from the playoffs picture, I expect northport to be as focused as ever, especially on defense. Northport 105 - Nlex 94

Franko House has already acclimated with Alaska's system and the loss of Banchero doesn't seem to faze them that much as evidenced by two-game winning streak. On the other end of the spectrum, Phoenix is in a free fall, losing the last three games despite an NBA-caliber player reinforcing them. I don't know if it's because of Gee's inability to buy in to Alas's system or Phoenix is just playing like shit, but it's clear that there is no chemistry between the locals and the team. Alonzo Gee has to be either one of the weakest, or the most ill-fitted in this Conference. I don't expect phoenix to win the rest of their games.
