sometimes i suspect some of the posters here are employed by vegas.
how can be that people never learn and therefore never earn?
after each game the whole perception of people changes and each by his own degeneracy tries to convince others.
get real. if not - you will always be other side of the winning bets vegas needs so bad to balance the bets.
after the first game it was all gs. now it is all cleveland and once vegas will see that public is all over cleveland - it will be gs in a devastating fashion. once gs will be a public pick - cleveland will convince us all they are the right pick only to balance the game five bets again and so on until game 6 or 7.
    wake the f...k up!!!

i predicted cavs would do well 1st qtr and 1st half in your thread for game 2 but Im leaning towards gs game 3.

Phixer you have been around for awhile -- I can't remember the last time I saw one game in a series move the price 620 cents -- do you have any examples of that happening we can reference for this series?

it is like talking to the wall. with all due respect - you are still analyzing the games like they are being fairly. i never give up - but i think i did my share here.
now - good luck with your convictions.
the only trend and conviction i have that this is me and vegas. vegas alays wins. and i have to be siding with vegas side. ces tu

Again Phix, I agree with you.  I do my own handicapping, each game.  Part of my handicapping effort is checking in with the regulars at the local brew pub.  They are, without a doubt, the public.  They are the guys who listen to the talking head experts and quote the stats and tell you how much better one team is over the other.  I fade them, and the rest of the public, and count my winnings.

Vegas sets its lines knowing who the public will favor.  Whether or not the "Phix" is in on a particular game can be debated.  But in my opinion, Game 2 was not a fair one for the betting public.  Cavaliers were the play - side, moneyline and under.  A game that goes into overtime and still covers the under?  These men are professionals and can hit any shot they want to, anytime they want to hit it.  Check out the YouTube posts for their trick shots.  They can do that stuff but put up bricks when the real game is on the line?

I differ a little with Phixer on Game 3, at this point.  I think GSW will be the public play, which I will fade.  But let's see what happens to the line and how it swings and then - go against the public.

The rest of you - keep doing what you are doing - and believing whatever it is that you believe.  This is not a sprint to the finish. Rather a life long pursuit of making money.  Those of us who know what we are doing will be around a long time

get real. if not - you will always be other side of the winning bets vegas needs so bad to balance the bets.
after the first game it was all gs. now it is all cleveland and once vegas will see that public is all over cleveland - it will be gs in a devastating fashion. once gs will be a public pick - cleveland will convince us all they are the right pick only to balance the game five bets again and so on until game 6 or 7.

Vegas, I don't know, but Offshore yes and Locals absolutely.  Look at who are the sponsors of these forums.  I was at a bar with a local drinking some beer watching the football games.  He had his computer with him and was constantly checking on his players account, then he started furiously typing and laughing.  I asked him what he was doing and he said starting some sXxt.  He said a lot of his players are on the boards (forum).  If a player is winning he would bash them to no end and try to get them to leave and was successful most of the time.  He would throw out wrong stats and try to mislead everyone he could.  That was his bread and butter.

Always do your homework and NEVER blindly follow someone.  You will never get ahead blindly following someone because everyone has their up's and down's.  When they are down you will second guess them and not follow and likely miss out on a win.  When you do follow they could lose...never ending battle...then the chasing starts.  Bookies LOVE it when you're down and start chasing, never chase, it's ok to sit out regroup for another day.  You have to think smart in sports betting and have a clear head.

Phixer, I enjoy reading your write up's and most of the time I think the same way.  I try to be of the same side as Vegas if possible, they will protect their investment.  Don't let anyone try to stop what you do.  BOL to everyone.

The people in this thread need to stop gambling. Your brains have rotted away.

Vegas doesn't control anything. If you actually believes it does then you've gone too deep and are done, which is exactly the types of people who make Vegas all their money.

Theres nothing supernatural about sports and/or gambling.

2003 white paper on gambling showed that gambling industry is equal to a cigarette industry at 365 billion dollars a year. that was 1 billion dollars a day 12 years ago. so if the sports betting is 18% of all the gambling as it was then - that would equal to 180,000,000 dollars a day 12 years ago. i believe online gambling in general and sports betting in particular has grown since and by a lot.
so, do you really think that kind of money is not controlled? really?  come on. really?

Don't work at a casino/hotel, I live in the real world...a place you evidently left a while ago.

Sports doesn't live in the matrix. Its real people, with zero connection to Vegas, playing a real game and the outcome isn't influenced or decided in advanced by Vegas. The people playing the game have all the influence over the outcomes with their play.

    Nothing else.

Vegas doesn't have the Back to the Future II sports book and knows the future. They have smart people that make educated guesses on some factors and get morons that think there is some kind of pattern to it to bite and give them money. They have zero, none, no, nada, zilch control over any outcome. If you honestly, in your heart, believe they do then you need to stop gambling or just blow your brains out now because you are a moron/crazy.

I believe offshore gambling rakes in more profits than vegas. Watch game 3 of houston and the warriors in the finals and it's like night and day. The way they play and execute is significantly different.
